# Welcome to BounceBit

Introduction

BounceBit is a CeDeFi infrastructure platform built around BounceBit Chain, BB-tokens, and institutional yield products. It connects regulated custody, and onchain markets through a unified framework for settlement, collateral, and yield.\

BounceBit uses an EVM-compatible proof-of-stake Layer 1 as its base settlement layer for assets, collateral, and applications. Its architecture separates custody, execution, and onchain accounting, while V3 standardizes user positions as rebasing BB-Tokens such as BBUSD and BBTC, which represent vault positions and can be used across DEXs, money markets, perpetuals, and staking
