# Welcome to BounceBit

Introduction

BounceBit is a CeDeFi infrastructure platform built around BounceBit Chain, BB-tokens, and institutional yield products. It connects regulated custody, tokenized real-world assets (RWA), and onchain markets through a unified framework for settlement, collateral, and yield.\
\
BounceBit uses an EVM-compatible proof-of-stake Layer 1 as its base settlement layer for assets, collateral, and applications. Its architecture separates custody, execution, and onchain accounting, while V3 standardizes user positions as rebasing BB-Tokens such as BBUSD and BBTC, which represent vault positions and can be used across DEXs, money markets, perpetuals, and staking.

Through BounceBit Prime, the platform integrates tokenized cash equivalents from Franklin Templeton’s Benji and BlackRock’s BUIDL via Securitize, with client assets custodied at Standard Chartered and connected to execution through an off-exchange collateral mirroring model.

# BounceBit's Philosophy

The landscape of blockchain solutions is evolving, and at BounceBit, we are shifting the focus from protocol-centric approaches to an asset-driven infrastructure. Our vision centers on enabling yield generation from a variety of assets—whether traditional cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, tokenized real-world assets, or other digital assets. We believe that infrastructure should be primarily asset-driven, allowing assets to retain their value and utility across decentralized ecosystems.

#### **BounceBit’s Asset-Driven PoS Layer 1 Model**

BounceBit operates as a standalone Proof of Stake (PoS) Layer 1 blockchain, where the emphasis is on the assets themselves rather than the protocol layer. This asset-driven model enables a diverse range of assets, from cryptocurrencies to tokenized real-world assets (RWAs), to be actively integrated into the network’s validation and yield generation processes.

Rather than relying solely on specific blockchains or Layer 2 solutions, BounceBit creates a more flexible, asset-centric infrastructure that allows assets from multiple ecosystems to participate in network operations, ensuring both security and value creation across the platform.

#### **Maximizing Asset Utility Across Ecosystems**

BounceBit goes beyond a single asset or blockchain, focusing on interoperability with a wide range of assets, including Bitcoin, tokenized equities, bonds, and commodities, as well as digital assets from EVM-compatible networks. By integrating assets from different ecosystems, BounceBit enables broader use cases and enhances liquidity, making it easier for users to access decentralized finance opportunities with a variety of assets. This allows for seamless asset movement between ecosystems, maximizing the utility of each asset within the BounceBit network.

#### **Transparent CeFi for Asset Integration**

BounceBit also addresses the challenge of generating yield on traditionally passive assets by integrating transparent centralized finance (CeFi) models. By utilizing trusted custody solutions like Mainnet Digital’s services and Ceffu's MirrorX technology, we ensure that assets can maintain their on-chain presence while participating in activities like trading and liquidity provision on centralized exchanges. This results in a transparent, efficient system that allows for the generation of yield while maintaining asset security and integrity.

#### **Enabling Active Asset Participation**

Recognizing the potential of liquid, actively used assets, BounceBit allows for the seamless integration of these assets into productive financial activities. Whether assets are held in secure custody or are already active on other chains, BounceBit facilitates their transition to more agile forms, like tokenized versions or wrapped assets, for use in decentralized finance strategies. This approach allows users to earn on-chain yield without directly interacting with their original blockchain, offering new opportunities for yield generation and liquidity across a wide range of assets.

By embracing an asset-driven philosophy, BounceBit Chain enables a more flexible, efficient, and interoperable financial ecosystem that maximizes the value of digital and tokenized assets, allowing them to work harder and smarter in a decentralized world.

# Challenges Addressed By BounceBit

In the wake of the tumultuous events of 2022, where leading Bitcoin-based financial platforms like Genesis Trading, Babel Finance, and Celsius faced bankruptcy, the Bitcoin ecosystem was left with a significant void in financial service provision. As the cryptocurrency with the highest market capitalization, Bitcoin's resurgence is vital for restoring market momentum and revitalizing its financial infrastructure, thereby enhancing liquidity and expanding use cases.

### Addressing the Transparency and Misuse in BTC Finance 1.0

BTC Finance 1.0, despite serving a critical purpose, was plagued by issues of transparency and fund misuse. BounceBit's development of BTC Finance 2.0 is a direct answer to these problems. By incorporating on-chain proof of reserve and transparent activities, BounceBit aims to rebuild trust and provide a more secure platform. This approach allows Bitcoin holders to earn yield on their idle BTC tokens, addressing a major gap in the previous financial offerings within the Bitcoin space.

### Tackling Underutilized Bitcoin Assets

A significant challenge for many BTC holders is the underutilization of their assets, leading to missed opportunities for profit, especially in burgeoning sectors like DeFi and NFTs. BounceBit seeks to address this by offering avenues for Bitcoin holders to actively engage their assets in these markets. This engagement not only provides holders with profit-generating opportunities but also contributes to the overall liquidity and dynamism of the Bitcoin ecosystem.

### Enhancing Bitcoin Utility and Expanding Use Cases

BounceBit is committed to enhancing the utility of Bitcoin. It aims to foster the adoption of BTC applications in a transparent and efficient environment, broadening the scope and yield opportunities for Bitcoin, and leveraging its status as a major asset. This includes creating an inclusive ecosystem for both retail and institutional investors, democratizing access to Bitcoin-based financial products.

### Bridging the Smart Contract Functionality Gap

\
The absence of a robust smart contract platform within the Bitcoin ecosystem limits the development of complex decentralized applications (dApps). Recognizing the importance of this functionality, BounceBit is focused on integrating smart contract capabilities, thus enabling BTC holders to utilize their assets in more diverse and profitable ways.

### Unifying BTC Across Multiple Chains

BounceBit also addresses the fragmentation of Wrapped BTC across various blockchain networks. By developing a unified platform that integrates these diverse forms of Wrapped BTC, BounceBit aims to centralize liquidity and streamline transactions across different blockchain networks, enhancing the efficiency and fluidity of BTC assets.

# BounceClub: Build on BounceBit

Build on BounceBit with the innovative concept of BounceClub

## **The Underlying Philosophy**

The guiding philosophy of BounceBit is deeply motivated by Apple Inc.’s spirit of innovation and commitment to user-centric design. Apple’s success is attributed not only to the functionality of their products but also to their elegant design and user-friendly interface.&#x20;

Inspired by Apple’s business model, BounceBit aims to revolutionize traditional onchain development methods by introducing the concept of BounceClub and BounceBit App Store. As an integral part of the BounceBit ecosystem, BounceClub is designed to simplify smart contract deployment for everyone and minimize dApp redundancy.&#x20;

## What is BounceClub?

BounceClub is the umbrella term for the mostly team-maintained ecosystem of BounceBit. The dApp landscape includes the usual DeFi primitives like DEX, stablecoins, launchpads and more. Additionally, BounceClub houses a Quanto Market, Meme Launchpad, Mini blockchain-games and an AI agent market.

## How Does BounceClub Work <a href="#id-61cd" id="id-61cd"></a>

For those who do not own a BounceClub, you can browse the BounceClubs created by others and engage in the various Web3 activities provided.

Developers are invited to submit their smart contracts to be listed as plugins in the BounceBit App Store, a process comparable to app publication on iOS’s App Store. Developers have the flexibility to choose from four distinct deployment modes for their smart contracts: 1) Free for all; 2) Exclusive to one or selected BounceClubs; 3) Implementing a deployment fee; 4) Offering rewards, such as airdrops, to BounceClub owners who deploy the contract.

# Introduction

An overview of BounceBit's CeDeFi architecture.

BounceBit links regulated custody with onchain settlement. Underlying assets are safeguarded by institutional custodians (e.g., CEFFU). Onchain, positions are represented in a standardized [BB-Token ](/token/bb-token-standard-v3)format so they can move through DEXs, money markets, perps, and incentive programs without bespoke wrappers.

### Layers at a glance

At the edge, approved gateways connect custody to the chain, handling mint/burn against verified reserves. \
\
The strategy layer issues standardized position tokens to subscribers, while the underlying assets are utilized as collateral for delta-neutral basis trading strategies. Yield is embedded within the BB-Tokens and rebases weekly.\
\
Network security is provided separately: stake BB to receive stBB (liquid staking derivative) with an unbonding period on exit. Farms can add program incentives on top of strategy positions without changing redemption rights.

<figure><img src="/files/GyPkFQXMqamRo1hDg9XL" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

### Asset flow

Users deposit through an approved pathway; the custodian records reserves. A strategy subscription mints the onchain position token to the user. That position can be used across integrated apps while accruals are reflected in token balances. When the user redeems, the token is burned and the underlying is released through the same custody route.

### Where yield comes from

* Onchain strategies: trading fees, lending/borrowing spreads, funding and basis capture, and other structured mechanisms settled programmatically on the chain.
* Venue strategies: basis, funding, and over-collateralized lending executed at regulated venues with off-exchange settlement; results are mirrored to holders on-chain.
* Network security: validator rewards from BB → stBB staking (subject to commissions and slashing rules).

### Security and risk posture

Custody remains under regulated standards (e.g., CEFFU) with clear ingress/egress procedures. Gateways enforce controlled mint/burn; transfers on-chain are permissionless unless a pause is invoked for incident response. Risk spans three domains: custody/venue (operational and counterparty), gateway/bridge (mint/burn correctness and connectivity), and smart-contract (strategy, farm, and settlement contracts). Slashing risk applies only to stBB (liquid staking). Pricing and collateralization are sensitive to oracle and liquidity conditions.

Custody stays institutional; settlement stays onchain. Users subscribe, receive a portable position token, and can compose it across applications. Redemption always routes back through custody. Liquid staking (stBB) is separate from strategy positions; Farms are an additive incentives layer, not a custody or security mechanism.

# Architecture

This document describes the end‑to‑end architecture of the BounceBit Protocol: the chain itself and the surrounding components that make asset‑driven finance work on one ledger.

BounceBit is an asset‑driven protocol: custody, execution, and onchain accounting are separated but coordinated so capital can live on one ledger and stay productive everywhere.

***

### TL;DR

* **One ledger:** BounceBit Chain (EVM, PoS) is the settlement layer for all protocol activity.
* **Represented assets:** External assets are reflected as **BB‑Tokens** **minted on BounceBit Chain** (no bridges). Underlyings for V3 are custodied at **CEFFU**.
* **Native security & rewards:** BB is staked via the **Liquid Staking Module (LSM)** to mint **stBB**. A portion of node‑staking rewards funds protocol incentives.
* **Optional incentives:** Eligible BB‑Tokens can **optionally** stake into the **Farm** to earn **stBB‑denominated** rewards.
* **Institutional CeDeFi:** **Prime** sources tokenized cash equivalents (e.g., Benji, BUIDL via Securitize) with custody at **Standard Chartered** and collateral **mirrored to OKX** for execution.

### User Journeys

#### A) Bring assets on

You allocate external assets to an approved custodian program. The protocol mints **BB‑Tokens for you on BounceBit Chain**—a bridgeless representation independent of the asset’s origin network. You hold BB‑Tokens in your wallet; the underlyings stay with the custodian (e.g., CEFFU for V3).

> **Note:** BB‑Tokens themselves are **not** in CEFFU custody; only their **underlying assets** are.

#### B) Farm (optional)

If you opt in, you can stake eligible BB‑Tokens into the **Farm** to earn rewards **in stBB**. These rewards come from a **siphoned portion of node‑staking yield**, not from liquidity pool emissions.

#### C) Use in apps

Because everything settles on one ledger, your BB‑Tokens and stBB flow through perps, swaps, money markets, and structured products with fewer hops and lower operational friction.

#### D) Redeem

Burn your BB‑Tokens on BounceBit Chain and receive the underlying assets from custody according to the relevant product’s rules and schedule.

***

### Component Deep Dives

#### 1) BounceBit Chain (Settlement)

**What it is.** An EVM‑compatible PoS Layer 1 that provides deterministic accounting for positions, collateral, and rewards.

**Why it matters.** A single state machine removes reconciliation overhead between CeFi and DeFi rails; capital can be reused instantly across products.

**How it works.** Validators stake **BB** and can be slashed for misbehavior. The **Liquid Staking Module (LSM)** mints **stBB**, a freely composable LSD used across DeFi and as the reward unit for the Farm.

***

#### 2) BB‑Tokens (Asset Representation)

**What they are.** On‑chain vouchers representing external assets (BTC, ETH, stablecoins, other supported assets).

**Why it matters.** They create a **bridgeless** path from custody to on‑chain utility while preserving clean separation of roles.

**Issuance.** After assets are placed with an approved custodian, the protocol **mints BB‑Tokens on BounceBit Chain for the user**. Tokens live in the user’s wallet; underlyings (V3) live at **CEFFU**.

**Redemption.** Burn BB‑Tokens on chain; custodian releases the corresponding underlying per program rules.

> **Not a bridge:** Supply discipline is enforced by on‑chain mint/burn controllers mapped to custodial attestations rather than cross‑chain lock/unlock mechanics.

***

#### 3) Farm (Protocol Incentives)

**Purpose.** Align protocol usage with network security.

**Mechanics.** Users **opt in** to stake eligible BB‑Tokens. Rewards are **paid in stBB** and sourced from a **programmatic siphon of node‑staking rewards**. No LP emissions; incentives are bounded by validator economics.

**Result.** A sustainable incentive loop that rewards productive collateral without distorting markets.

***

#### 4) Prime (Institutional CeDeFi)

**Role.** Access to tokenized cash equivalents and institutional execution while keeping custody segregated.

**Instruments.** Sourced via **Securitize** (e.g., Franklin Templeton’s Benji, BlackRock’s BUIDL).

**Custody & execution separation.** Assets are held at **Standard Chartered** (G‑SIB). Collateral is **mirrored to OKX** for venue execution. Custody remains with the bank; collateral moves programmatically for fills.

**Accounting.** Exposures are reflected on BounceBit Chain so they can compose with BB‑Tokens and stBB across apps.

**Benefits.** Reduced venue risk, audit‑ready reporting, and 24/7 collateral mobility with eligibility controls when required.

***

### Governance & Upgrades

* **Parameters:** Emission shares, Farm eligibility, supported underlyings are managed on chain.
* **Process:** Testnet → canary → mainnet, with public notices and timelocks where applicable.

***

### Glossary

* **BB:** Native token used for fees and staking.
* **stBB:** Liquid staking derivative of BB issued by the LSM; reward unit for Farm.
* **BB‑Tokens:** On‑chain vouchers for assets held with approved custodians; minted on BounceBit Chain; underlyings (V3) at CEFFU.
* **Farm:** Optional staking of eligible BB‑Tokens to earn stBB rewards sourced from node‑staking.
* **Prime:** Institutional CeDeFi layer with custody at Standard Chartered and collateral mirroring to OKX; instruments sourced via Securitize.

# Yield Streams

BounceBit has a multifaceted framework designed to maximize the potential yields for asset holders within its ecosystem. The system is divided into three primary yield streams, each offering unique opportunities for users to grow their assets.

## Ecosystem Yield

The ecosystem DeFi yield stream within BounceBit capitalizes on the various DeFi applications and opportunities available within the BounceBit onchain ecosystem. Users can engage in activities such as liquidity provision, yield farming, and participating in new project launches or governance mechanisms. By actively participating in the BounceBit ecosystem, users can earn yield in the form of transaction fees, governance tokens, or other incentives designed to reward ecosystem engagement.

## Infrastructure Yield

BounceBit’s infrastructure yield is anchored in its staking framework. Users are incentivized to stake their BounceBit tokens, thereby directly enhancing the chain’s security and stability. Participation in this process is twofold: validators operate nodes to maintain network integrity, while stakers contribute to the consensus via Proof of Stake. The tangible return on these critical activities comes in the form of staking rewards—yield that is accrued from the network’s transaction fees and the unlocking of BB coins through the PoS protocol. A portion of staking rewards is reserved as incentive for staking BB-Tokens after subscribing to a strategy vault.\
\
This model not only enables a sustainable ecosystem for yield accrual but also reinforces the foundational strength of the BounceBit network.

## Strategy Yield

Within BounceBit’s ecosystem, the third avenue of yield generation is through a CeFi framework, woven into the platform’s architecture. User’s contributions to TVL are securely managed by Ceffu's regulated custodial services, assuring both compliance and safety. These assets are then mirrored via Ceffu’s MirrorX service, a key integration by BounceBit that maintains the onchain visibility and transparency of these assets.

Users can explore various vault strategies offered in collaboration with established asset managers, details of which are available in the [asset manager directory](/bouncebit-cedefi/asset-manager-directory). This includes participating in funding rate arbitrage opportunities on Binance and exploiting differences between futures and spot market prices.

# Funding Rate Arbitrage

## What is Funding Rate Arbitrage? <a href="#id-06cf" id="id-06cf"></a>

Funding rate arbitrage is a trading strategy that exploits differences in funding rates between various markets. The key to this strategy lies in maintaining a delta-neutral position, meaning your overall exposure to price movements is balanced.

In simpler terms, you aim to offset any gains or losses from price fluctuations with profits earned from funding rates. There is more than one type of Funding Rate Arbitrage but we will focus on the following, since this is the main strategy of BounceBit.

### Spot — Perpetual Arbitrage <a href="#id-48f7" id="id-48f7"></a>

This strategy involves executing two opposing trades simultaneously, with equal quantities, in both spot and perpetual contracts. Its goal is to capture the funding fee income from perpetual contract trading.

* Positive Arbitrage: When the funding rate is positive, buying spot and shorting an equivalent position in perpetual contracts generates stable funding fee income.
* Negative Arbitrage: When the funding rate is negative, selling borrowed coins on spot with leverage and going long in perpetual contracts with an equivalent leveraged position earns stable funding fee income.

**For example:** BTC is priced at $20,000 USDT and the funding rate is 0.03%. Let’s explore funding rate arbitrage using $4,000 USDT with 1x leverage:

* Buy $2,000 USDT worth of BTC spot and short $2,000 USDT worth of a BTC perpetual contract.
* Assuming consistent funding rates, every 8 hours, you would receive $2,000 USDT \* 0.03% = $0.60 USDT.
* Collecting $0.60 USDT every 8 hours translates to $1.80 USDT per day. With an annualized return calculation, this translates to 1.80 \* 365 / 2,000 = 32.95%.

### Benefits of Funding Rate Arbitrage

There are several reasons why funding rate arbitrage is attracting attention, especially within the digital asset space:

* **Reduced Risk Portfolio:** Unlike high-risk strategies like leveraged futures, funding rate arbitrage focuses on exploiting price discrepancies between platforms for the same asset, not predicting market direction. This reduces reliance on price forecasts, leading to a lower overall risk portfolio.
* **Market Inefficiency Opportunities:** The strategy capitalizes on temporary misalignments in funding rates. By exploiting these short-term inefficiencies, arbitrageurs can capture additional returns not available through traditional trading.
* **Market Neutrality:** Funding rate arbitrage is market-neutral, meaning it works in bullish, bearish, or sideways markets. The focus lies on the differential between funding rates, not the overall price trajectory. This flexibility allows for participation regardless of the broader market trend.

# BB-Token Vault Model

The BB-Token Vault Model is a cornerstone of the BounceBit ecosystem, combining the benefits of centralized finance (CeFi) and decentralized finance (DeFi) to create an integrated system for yield generation, asset management, and liquidity provision. The model utilizes the BB-token to bridge the gap between CeFi custody and DeFi yield strategies. This technical explanation details the vault model's functionality, including rebasing, yield-embedded mechanisms, multichain deposits, and its role in the broader CeDeFi architecture.

***

### Model Overview

The BB-Token Vault Model integrates tokenized real-world assets (RWAs) within a CeDeFi framework. It combines the security of regulated CeFi custody with the flexibility and programmability of DeFi, enabling users to deposit BB-tokens across multiple chains and participate in yield-generating strategies. Through the vault, users' assets are utilized for earning returns while maintaining the regulatory oversight and safety inherent in CeFi.

#### Core Features

1. **Rebasing Mechanism**\
   The BB-token vaults incorporate a rebasing mechanism to adjust the supply of tokens based on the yield generated from underlying assets. Rebasing happens periodically, updating the token balance in users' wallets according to the amount of yield accumulated in the vault. The rebasing mechanism helps to reflect the real-time performance of the assets, ensuring the value of the BB-token is always aligned with the yield generated by the vault's strategies.
2. **Yield-Embedded Mechanism**\
   The BB-token vault embeds yield generation into the tokenomics of the BB-token itself. When users deposit assets, the vault automatically allocates them into the pre-configured yield strategies, which could include lending, staking, liquidity provision, or arbitrage. The returns from these strategies are then rebased into the BB-token supply, effectively “embedding” yield into the asset value for token holders. The entire yield process is automated, minimizing manual intervention and ensuring consistent, passive returns.
3. **Staking Rewards**\
   In addition to yield generated from vault participation, users can earn **extra rewards** by staking their BB-tokens. Staking BB-tokens provides users with additional incentives, such as governance rights or bonus rewards, further enhancing the overall return on investment. These staking rewards are separate from the yield generated by the vault’s strategies, providing an added layer of incentives for token holders.
4. **Multichain** **Deposits**\
   The BB-token vault supports multichain deposits, enabling users to interact with the vault across different blockchain networks. Users can deposit BB-tokens into the vault from multiple supported chains, such as Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain (BSC), or other compatible networks. The vault is designed to handle cross-chain interactions seamlessly, ensuring assets are deployed efficiently to generate yield regardless of the chain origin. This multichain support allows for a more flexible and inclusive user experience while increasing liquidity across various platforms.
5. **CeDeFi** **Architecture**\
   The BB-Token Vault operates within CeDeFi architecture, a hybrid system that combines the security and regulatory compliance of CeFi with the flexibility and innovation of DeFi. Assets deposited into the vault are initially custodied within a regulated financial institution, ensuring compliance with global regulatory standards. From there, the assets are mirrored into DeFi venues, where yield generation strategies are executed. The combination of CeFi custody and DeFi yield strategies reduces risk while ensuring the vault remains flexible and able to adapt to evolving market conditions.

***

### How It Works

* **Deposit**:\
  Users deposit BB-tokens into the vault, which are custodied at a regulated institution and mirrored to CEX for yield generation.
* **Yield Generation**:\
  The assets are automatically allocated to yield strategies (e.g., staking, liquidity provision), and the returns are rebased into the BB-token supply, increasing the value of the tokens.
* **Staking Rewards**:\
  Users can stake their BB-tokens to earn additional rewards, separate from the vault’s yield, which may include bonus tokens or governance rights.
* **Multichain Interaction**:\
  Deposits can be made from multiple blockchains (e.g., Ethereum, BSC), and assets are mirrored into DeFi pools on those chains for efficient yield generation.
* **Redemption**:\
  After a lock-up period, users can redeem BB-tokens, reflecting the yield generated up until that point.

***

### Use Cases

* **Institutional Investors**:\
  The BB-token vault model allows institutional investors to generate yield from tokenized real-world assets in a regulated environment, with automated strategies and minimal manual intervention.
* **Retail Investors**:\
  Retail investors can participate in CeDeFi yield generation through the BB-token vault, taking advantage of multichain support, yield rebasing, and automated asset management.
* **DeFi Strategies**:\
  Developers and traders can leverage the BB-token vault as a source of liquidity for DeFi protocols, utilizing the vault’s automated strategies for yield generation across different chains.

***

### Risks & Considerations

* **Market Risk**:\
  The BB-token vault’s yield generation strategies are subject to market conditions, and there is no guarantee of returns. The value of the BB-token may fluctuate based on the performance of the underlying assets.
* **Liquidity Risk**:\
  Although the vault is designed to optimize liquidity across multiple chains, users should consider potential liquidity constraints, especially during periods of high market volatility or low asset demand.
* **Redemption Risk**:\
  Depending on the vault’s configuration, there may be lock-up periods or withdrawal restrictions that affect the timing and amount of redemption.

# CeDeFi Yield

The BounceBit CeDeFi system operates as an optional feature suite integrating regulated custody with decentralized yield generation. The architecture leverages Ceffu's custody infrastructure to enable delta-neutral trading strategies while maintaining asset security.

<figure><img src="/files/MnQ0YxGArskRZykMoxIS" alt="" width="563"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

### Technical Components

#### Custody Infrastructure

The system's foundation rests on regulated custody providers like Ceffu (formerly Binance Custody). These regulated entities implement a multi-party approval system for asset movements, ensuring comprehensive security through a robust regulatory compliance framework.

#### MirrorX Integration

MirrorX serves as an off-exchange settlement layer, providing a critical bridge between custodial security and exchange functionality. The system mirrors assets on Binance Exchange without direct CEX exposure, effectively reducing counterparty risk through segregated custody while maintaining access to Binance's deep liquidity pools. This architecture enables continuous on-chain asset tracking and verification.

#### Yield Generation Mechanism

At its core, the system implements funding rate arbitrage through carefully structured delta-neutral trading strategies. Position sizing follows strict risk management parameters, with automated execution systems monitoring and capitalizing on cross-market arbitrage opportunities. This approach ensures consistent yield generation while maintaining strategic risk controls.

#### Asset Support

The current implementation extends across multiple blockchains, supporting major assets including Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Tether (USDT), BNB, and Solana (SOL). This cross-chain and cross-asset compatibility enables comprehensive yield generation opportunities while using these diverse assets as collateral within the system.

### Security Architecture

#### Custody Security

Security measures center on a regulated custodial framework requiring multi-party transaction approval. The system maintains segregated asset storage with continuous on-chain verification through MirrorX, creating multiple layers of security and transparency.

#### Risk Management

The risk management framework implements delta-neutral strategies with defined position size limitations. Automated risk controls monitor all operations, while regular audit procedures ensure system integrity. This comprehensive approach maintains equilibrium between centralized security measures and decentralized functionality, allowing users to access CEX-based yield strategies while their assets remain in regulated custody.

# Fixed

Fixed mode offers users stable, predictable returns through fixed-term, interest-based products. Users can lock their assets for specific periods to earn a guaranteed yield, providing a stable alternative to market-driven products and protection from market volatility. This option is best suited for those who prioritize security and predictable returns and are comfortable with committing their assets for a set duration.

Each asset (BTC, USDT, ETH) has its own Fixed mode option, letting users select fixed returns specific to each asset. Yield is distributed on a daily basis, but the APY is subject to change every 30 days.

**You should subscribe under Fixed if you…**

* Prioritize stability and want predictable, steady returns.
* Prefer locking in a guaranteed yield over flexible, market-responsive strategies.
* Are comfortable committing assets for a specific term to achieve fixed returns.

#### Settlement of income and principal:

* PNL: Settlement every Friday
* Principal: After 30 days of regular payment, according to the redemption T+7 application, it will be settled on the nearest Tuesday and Friday (redemption application within the batch processing cycle)

**Redemption of unstake request:**

* After the customer subscribes, the lock-up period is 30 days, and the unstake request can be initiated at any time;
* Early redemption of unstake is not supported within 30 days;
* Redemption of Unstake will be settled on the nearest Tuesday or Friday starting from T+7;
* If after 30 days, if redemption is initiated on T day, the income ends on T day

A) Principal redemption According to the user's Unstake Request, the user's fund redemption is initiated twice a week:

* Unstake applications from 12:00 last Tuesday to 12:00 last Friday (UTC+8) will be uniformly redeemed and settled from 12:00 to 18:00 on Tuesday.
* Unstake applications from 12:00 last Friday to 12:00 this Tuesday (UTC+8) will be uniformly redeemed and settled from 12:00 to 18:00 on Friday.

B) Weekly settlement of interest (BB needs to provide the previous weekly income liquidity funds):

* Interest settlement operations are performed from 12:00 to 18:00 every Friday (all interests from 12:00 last Friday (not included) to 12:00 this Friday (inclusive)).

Process redemption according to each user's Stake, and calculate the income of each Stake.

# Auto

In Auto mode, users benefit from AI-powered automated asset management tailored to optimize returns based on predefined strategies. The system actively monitors and dynamically allocates assets across multiple yield-generating strategies, with frequent rebalancing to maximize risk-adjusted returns. The machine learning algorithms continuously fine-tune strategies based on real-time market conditions, offering users a hands-off, optimized experience that adapts as the market evolves. However, it's important to note that the Annual Percentage Rate (APR) in Auto mode is not fixed and can fluctuate based on market conditions, meaning returns are not guaranteed. # Rebasing Mechanism

### Overview

CeDeFi V2 introduces an advanced rebasing mechanism that automatically reflects yield earnings in token balances, marking a significant improvement over V1. This implementation leverages the ERC-4626 tokenized vault standard to provide a more streamlined and efficient yield distribution system.

### Key Features

* **Automatic Yield Reflection**: Token balances automatically update to reflect earned yield
* **ERC-4626 Compliance**: Implements the standardized tokenized vault interface
* **Flexible Position Management**: Supports partial position modifications and seamless subscription/unsubscription

### Technical Implementation

#### ERC-4626 Integration

The protocol implements the ERC-4626 standard, which provides a standardized interface for tokenized vaults. This offers several advantages:

```solidity
interface IERC4626 is IERC20, IERC20Metadata {
    function asset() external view returns (address assetTokenAddress);
    function totalAssets() external view returns (uint256 totalManagedAssets);
    function convertToShares(uint256 assets) external view returns (uint256 shares);
    function convertToAssets(uint256 shares) external view returns (uint256 assets);
    // ... additional interface methods
}
```

#### Rebasing Mechanism

**How It Works**

1. When yield is generated, it is automatically distributed proportionally to all token holders
2. Token balances increase to reflect the earned yield
3. The underlying asset-to-share ratio is continuously updated

### Advantages Over V1

| Feature                | V1                         | V2                            |
| ---------------------- | -------------------------- | ----------------------------- |
| Yield Distribution | Manual claim required | Automatic reflection |
| Position Management    | All-or-nothing withdrawals | Partial withdrawals supported |
| Standard Compliance    | Custom implementation      | ERC-4626 compliant            |
| Integration Complexity | High                       | Low                           |

### Security Considerations

* All rebasing calculations are performed atomically to prevent exploitation
* Share-to-asset conversions include safety checks against slippage
* Integrators should implement proper decimal handling for share calculations

# Security Risk Management

Risk Assessment

### MirrorX Architecture

The security framework centers on Ceffu's MirrorX system, providing a critical bridge between custody and trading operations. This architecture enables trading execution without direct exchange deposits, significantly reducing counterparty risk while maintaining full market access. Through MirrorX, assets remain secure in Ceffu's MPC (Multi-Party Computation) custody as trading strategies execute across different asset managers.

{% file src="/files/hLcA5RWlWsLN2juX2rrc" %}

### Settlement Process

MirrorX's infrastructure enables off-chain settlement on a T+1 basis, ensuring rapid position reconciliation while maintaining asset security. The system provides continuous monitoring of fund movements between asset managers, with all transfers requiring multi-signature authorization through the MPC protocol. This architecture enables efficient settlement while assets remain under institutional custody protection.

### Compliance Through Elliptic

Elliptic's blockchain analytics infrastructure powers the system's AML compliance framework, providing advanced cryptocurrency surveillance and forensics capabilities. Elliptic processes over $2 trillion in transactions daily across multiple chains, enabling comprehensive risk assessment through pattern recognition and machine learning algorithms. Their extensive dataset, built since 2013, covers sanctioned entities, darknet markets, and high-risk wallets, providing institutional-grade transaction screening. This infrastructure enables real-time risk scoring and automated regulatory reporting while supporting the high-throughput requirements of MirrorX operations.

### Risk Management Integration

The MirrorX protocol integrates multiple security layers. The core MPC technology requires distributed authorization for asset movements, while the compliance framework monitors all transaction flows. This combination ensures both operational security and regulatory standards throughout all trading and settlement processes.

### Technical Implementation

The infrastructure's foundation rests on MirrorX's separation of custody and trading functions. MPC-secured custody remains isolated from trading operations, while maintaining full exchange functionality through MirrorX's mirroring protocol. The compliance layer operates alongside this architecture, providing transaction screening and risk assessment without impacting operational efficiency. This structure enables institutional-grade security while preserving the flexibility needed for effective trading strategy execution.

# dApp

### Platform Architecture

The BounceBit dApp layer combines traditional blockchain primitives with CeFi-integrated protocols to create a comprehensive trading and yield infrastructure. This system unifies decentralized exchange functionality, staking mechanisms, and CeFi liquidity access through a single interface.

### Core Components

The infrastructure integrates three primary systems:

#### DeFi Primitives

The foundation layer provides essential blockchain functionality through a decentralized exchange and staking infrastructure. Users can access liquidity pools, execute swaps, and participate in network security through staking mechanisms.

#### CeDeFi Collaborations

The platform incorporates products like Ethena's USDe, enabling access to real-yield opportunities with partnered DeFi projects. These products maintain on-chain transparency while leveraging centralized infrastructure for yield generation.

#### Superfast

A key innovation is the Superfast protocol, which functions as an on-chain settlement layer for Binance liquidity. This system enables rapid transaction execution by bridging CEX liquidity directly to on-chain settlements, reducing latency while maintaining transparency.

### Technical Implementation

The infrastructure uses a modular architecture where each component maintains independent operation while sharing liquidity and settlement layers. Superfast's integration with Binance enables efficient price discovery and execution, while the DeFi primitives ensure decentralized access and control. This hybrid approach combines the efficiency of centralized liquidity with the security of on-chain settlement.

# Superfast

## What is Superfast？

Superfast is an on-chain "broker" designed to provide quick and liquid trading of BounceBit assets. Most notably it allows for the super liquid swap of BB, BBUSD & BBTC. User experience is one of the highest priorities at BounceBit. It is what sets us apart from the competition. One major factor to UX is speed, it affects usability, understandability & quality. In finance, especially in crypto, liquidity is often a bottleneck.

### How It Works

Superfast leverages the concept of Liquid Custody Tokens (LCT) in combination with CEXs. LCTs are backed 1:1 by a corresponding underlying asset. BBUSD is backed by USDT, while BBTC is backed by BTCB.Now while BBUSD and BBTC are currently not directly available for trading on centralized exchanges, their underlying asset is. This opens up the possibility of utilizing the liquidity that these assets possess on centralized exchanges. Superfast builds the robust connection between blockchain and CEX.When you initiate a swap on-chain, the transaction is picked up and automatically reflected on a CEX. While the trade happens on the CEX with great liquidity, your transaction is settled on-chain and you receive your traded asset on BounceBit network.

### Best of Both Worlds

Superfast provides users with the best of both worlds: the speed and liquidity of a major exchange like Binance and the transparency and security of blockchain technology.Lower gas fees, lower transaction fees, lower slippage, lower spread, quicker settlement. While currently focused on BB, BTC and USDT, we have plans to expand its offerings. More cryptocurrencies and trading pairs will be added, making it a comprehensive platform for efficient trading on & beyond BounceBit. Through Superfast, Liquid Custody Token's need for liquidity will be satiated. We are looking at a new era for LCTs, allowing for even more collaboration & adoption angles.<br>

## Advantages of Superfast Trading

* Reduce system connection costs\
  Integration with Superfast allows users to access the trading functions of multiple exchanges without the need for separate KYC processes on each exchange.
* Extremely fast trading experience\
  Our innovative technology ensures an exceptionally fast trading experience, catering to the high-speed and efficient needs of high-frequency traders.
* Extremely low transaction fees\
  Relying on Binance, users can benefit from transaction rates that are lower than decentralized exchanges offer, resulting in significant savings on transaction costs.
* Complete transaction risk control system\
  Superfast runs a robust risk control system with real-time monitoring and accurate prediction of account risks. Coupled with a strict clearing and settlement system.<br>

# Introduction

An introduction to BounceBit's institutional platform: Prime

BounceBit Prime is an institutional platform that turns tokenized cash equivalents into productive, programmable collateral. It connects regulated custody with onchain execution so capital can earn yield, move instantly, and remain audit-ready at all times.

Prime sources tokenized cash equivalents from Franklin Templeton’s Benji and BlackRock’s BUIDL via Securitize. Client assets are custodied at Standard Chartered. Collateral mirrors to trading venues for execution through an off-exchange settlement flow. The model separates custody from execution, reduces venue risk, and preserves clear legal ownership.

### What Prime enables

* Yield with control: Access treasury-backed, tokenized cash equivalents while maintaining segregation, reporting, and policy controls.
* Programmable collateral: Move collateral 24/7 for trading, margin, or financing without breaking custody.
* Operational assurance: Audit-ready statements, chain-level transparency, and rules that enforce mandates in code.
* Liquidity at scale: Real-time collateral mobility and venue connectivity for faster deployment and lower friction.

### How it works

<figure><img src="/files/P6PbvNIWqjv4Qogmmf4m" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

1. Subscribe to tokenized cash equivalents through approved issuers and transfer to Standard Chartered custody.
2. Mirror positions to connected venues for execution and risk management while assets remain held at the bank.
3. Automate policies, limits, and reporting through onchain controls and Prime’s operations layer.

### Who it is for

Institutions that need yield, transparency, and control in a single operating model. Asset managers, trading firms, treasuries, and market makers that want regulated custody with onchain speed.

Prime is a practical path for RWAs to operate natively onchain. It delivers the safety of bank custody, the efficiency of onchain settlement, and the discipline of programmable controls in one platform.

# RWA (Real World Assets)

## RWA Tokenization:

The financial landscape is on the brink of a paradigm shift, driven by the rapid evolution of blockchain technology. Among its most transformative applications is the tokenization of RWAs. By bringing traditionally illiquid assets such as real estate, commodities, bonds, and even art onto the blockchain, RWA tokenization is setting the stage for a more inclusive, efficient, and transparent financial future.

This section explores what RWAs are, the potential of tokenizing them, the benefits and challenges of this emerging trend, and why it matters for the future of decentralized finance (DeFi).

***

### Understanding RWAs

Real-World Assets are tangible and intangible assets that exist outside the digital realm but hold significant value. These include:

* Real Estate: Residential homes, commercial properties, and undeveloped land.
* Commodities: Resources like oil, gold, and agricultural products that are crucial to global markets.
* Bonds: Instruments representing debt issued by governments or corporations.
* Art and Collectibles: Rare items and masterpieces with intrinsic cultural and financial value.

Traditionally, these assets have been difficult to access, trade, or manage without significant financial infrastructure and intermediaries. The advent of blockchain technology offers a new lens through which we can reimagine how these assets are owned and exchanged.

***

### The Journey Toward RWA Tokenization

The idea of representing real-world value in a digital format is not new. In the 1990s, the development of Exchange-Traded Funds (ETFs) and Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs) marked the beginning of this evolution, allowing investors to gain exposure to physical assets through digital instruments. However, these tools relied heavily on centralized systems and intermediaries, limiting their potential.

The blockchain era introduced the next leap forward. Early experiments, like Bitcoin’s Colored Coins, aimed to tie physical assets to digital tokens but faced significant technological limitations. The launch of Tether in 2014, representing the value of the U.S. dollar, demonstrated how a digital token could reliably bridge physical and digital economies. Today, decentralized finance (DeFi) has matured to the point where large-scale RWA tokenization is not only possible but inevitable.

***

### How RWA Tokenization Works

Tokenizing a real-world asset means converting its ownership rights into a digital token recorded on a blockchain. Each token represents a fractional share of the asset, enabling it to be divided, traded, and managed entirely onchain. This process eliminates many of the inefficiencies inherent in traditional financial systems while unlocking new possibilities for asset management.

For example, instead of needing millions of dollars to invest in a commercial property, tokenization allows investors to purchase small, affordable fractions of that property. These tokens can then be traded on blockchain-based platforms, offering global, round-the-clock liquidity.

***

### Why RWA Matters

The tokenization of RWAs is poised to disrupt traditional finance by addressing longstanding inefficiencies and barriers. Here are some of the most significant benefits:

* Democratized Ownership: By enabling fractional ownership, tokenization opens access to high-value assets that were previously out of reach for most investors.
* Enhanced Liquidity: Assets like real estate and art, which are typically illiquid, can now be traded easily and globally, 24/7.
* Transparency and Trust: Blockchain technology ensures that all transactions and ownership records are secure, immutable, and verifiable.
* Cost and Time Savings: The elimination of intermediaries reduces transaction costs and speeds up processes like transfers and settlements.
* Global Accessibility: Tokenized assets break down geographic barriers, creating a truly global marketplace for investment.

***

### The Potential Market for RWAs

The market for tokenized assets is already gaining traction. As of September 2023, RWAs represented the eighth-largest sector in DeFi, with a Total Value Locked (TVL) of $1.3 billion. According to projections by the Boston Consulting Group, tokenized assets could represent a staggering $16 trillion market by 2030. While this remains a fraction of the global asset market, valued at $900 trillion, the potential for growth is undeniable.

***

### Challenges in RWA Tokenization

As promising as RWA tokenization is, it faces several hurdles that need to be addressed for widespread adoption:

* Liquidity Fragmentation: Tokenized assets often exist on separate blockchains, making it difficult to aggregate liquidity.
* Regulatory Complexity: Differing regulations across jurisdictions create obstacles for token classifications, tax compliance, and investor protections.
* Interoperability Gaps: Bridging the gap between traditional financial systems and blockchain platforms remains a challenge.
* Security Risks: The digital nature of tokenized assets introduces vulnerabilities to hacking and fraud, necessitating robust safeguards.
* On/Off-Ramps: Seamless mechanisms to transition assets between traditional and blockchain ecosystems are still lacking.

Overcoming these challenges is critical to unlocking the full potential of tokenized assets and ensuring their integration into the broader financial system.

***

### The Road Ahead for RWAs

The tokenization of RWAs represents more than just a technological innovation—it’s a paradigm shift in how value is perceived, exchanged, and managed. By addressing inefficiencies and fostering transparency, RWA tokenization has the potential to make finance more accessible and inclusive for everyone.

The coming years are likely to see an explosion of interest in this space as traditional assets migrate onto the blockchain. With advances in technology and regulatory frameworks, RWA tokenization could redefine global finance, offering unprecedented opportunities for individuals, institutions, and businesses alike.

# RWA in Yield Generation

Coming in 2025

## Dual-Yield Mechanism

RWA tokens like USDY, USYC function as both yield-generating assets and trading collateral within the BounceBit ecosystem. This dual functionality enables compound yield generation through parallel strategies:

1. The underlying RWA yield continues to accrue from traditional financial instruments.
2. The tokenized RWA simultaneously serves as collateral for delta-neutral trading strategies.

### Technical Implementation

When using RWAs for funding rate arbitrage, the system maintains specific parameters:

The RWA tokens (e.g., USYC) remain as collateral in regulated custody while their value supports trading positions. This creates a secured credit line that enables funding rate arbitrage execution without liquidating the underlying RWA position. The original RWA yield (such as from short-term U.S. Treasuries in USDY's case) continues generating returns throughout the strategy's duration.

Position sizing and risk management adapt to RWA-specific factors:

* Collateral value accounting for RWA market pricing
* Position limits reflecting underlying RWA liquidity
* Risk parameters adjusted for RWA volatility profiles

### Credit Line Management

The system's credit architecture allows users to:

* Maintain exposure to RWA yields
* Execute delta-neutral strategies using the asset's collateral value

This structure effectively compounds returns while maintaining the security of regulated RWA custody.

# RWA Strategy Vaults

The RWA Strategy Vaults on BounceBit Prime offer institutional investors a secure and automated way to gain exposure to tokenized Real World Assets (RWAs). These vaults are designed to implement various yield-generation strategies on tokenized RWAs, such as money market funds, treasury bills, or other fixed-income assets, while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and reducing operational complexity.\
\
Once an investor subscribes to a vault, the platform automatically mirrors their assets to connected trading venues via regulated custody, e.g. Standard Chartered, where they are used as collateral to generate yield. The vault's strategy is managed entirely by the system, which optimizes asset allocation and ensures the strategy stays within predefined risk parameters.

All asset movements, yield generation, and settlements are recorded onchain (off-exchange), offering full transparency and auditability. Additionally, the underlying assets remain custodied at regulated institutions, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safeguarding investor capital.

The vaults are designed with institutional-grade security and compliance in mind, and are available exclusively to qualified investors who have completed the necessary KYC procedures.

For information on product details, redemption, investment strategy, and fees, please refer to the specific vault product page.

<figure><img src="/files/PluyWvsw4YWo7M2feoXF" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

#### Risk Disclosure

RWA strategy vaults combine exposure to a tokenized cash equivalent and derivatives-based funding rate arbitrage. While designed to be market-neutral, returns are variable and not guaranteed.

* Market & Yield Risk: Treasury yields and funding rates fluctuate; negative rates may reduce or eliminate yield.
* Counterparty & Exchange Risk: Custodial, counterparty, or exchange failures may result in losses. Risks are mitigated through third party custodian Standard Chartered Bank but cannot be eliminated.
* Liquidity & Redemption Risk: Redemptions follow fixed settlement cycles and may be delayed under stressed market conditions.
* Regulatory Risk: Changes in laws governing tokenized assets or derivatives may affect product structure or availability.
* Performance Risk: Past performance is not indicative of future results; losses, including principal loss, are possible.

# Primary RWA Vaults

Primary RWA vaults are monetary vehicles that combine yield-bearing tokenized assets with BB incentives. It is a dual-yield structure by design:

1. The inherent yield derived from the underlying real-world asset's performance (such as t-bill, money market funds)
2. BB rewards accrued through the platform's node staking mechanism.&#x20;

These BB rewards are distributed automatically to all vault participants without requiring additional actions. This simultaneous earning structure increases the total potential yield for investors compared to traditional RWA investments while maintaining exposure to regulated real-world assets.

# BounceBit Chain

Introduction to BounceBit's Layer 1 network.

BounceBit Chain is a Layer 1 blockchain designed to enable yield generation from both centralized and decentralized asset sources. It serves as the foundational layer for the BounceBit protocol, providing a secure, scalable, and efficient platform for unlocking value from a wide range of assets.

#### **Philosophy**

The primary goal of BounceBit Chain is to unlock yield on traditionally passive assets. These assets can come from centralized sources (e.g., institutional funds) or decentralized sources (e.g., crypto liquidity pools), or even a combination of both. This approach provides flexibility and broadens the opportunities for yield generation.

#### **Technology**

The blockchain operates with a decentralized consensus mechanism, ensuring security and scalability. While the infrastructure is decentralized, the assets that fuel yield generation can be sourced from both centralized and decentralized markets.

* **Yield from Various Sources:** BounceBit Chain supports yield generation from a mix of centralized assets (e.g., tokenized real-world assets like bonds or money-market funds) and decentralized finance strategies (e.g., staking, liquidity provision).
* **Secure and Scalable:** The platform’s decentralized infrastructure is designed to handle large transaction volumes, ensuring both security and scalability for diverse asset types and yield strategies.

# Consensus Mechanism

BounceBit Chain uses a Proof of Stake (PoS) consensus mechanism, where validators are selected to confirm transactions and secure the network based on the amount of cryptocurrency they hold and are willing to "stake" as collateral. In return validators receive transaction fees as staking reward. This system is energy-efficient and encourages participants to act honestly, as they risk losing their staked assets if they are found to be acting maliciously.

In PoS, validators take turns proposing and validating new blocks, making the process faster and more secure than traditional Proof of Work systems. This allows BounceBit Chain to maintain a decentralized and scalable infrastructure while ensuring the integrity and security of transactions across the network.

### Liquid Staking Module and Validator Set

<figure><img src="/files/HBj2TUngBAZRdHGMJbpc" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

#### Epoch-Driven Validator Selection and Incentivization

BounceBit’s blockchain operates on an Epoch-based timeline, with each Epoch encapsulating a 24-hour cycle. This systematic approach facilitates the structured selection of validators and the execution of consensus-related operations. Reward distribution, executed at the closure of each Epoch and denominated in BounceBit Tokens, is meticulously calibrated to benefit both validators and stakers, nurturing a cycle of perpetual engagement and network reinforcement.&#x20;

Each Epoch, a new set of active validators is selected. The maximum number of validators in this set is decided by governance. Which validators can join the set is determined by their voting weight. The voting weight takes into account the amount of BB staked by the node operator. If the node operator is not selected, he will be assigned to the candidates set and reevaluated for the next epoch.

### Sustainable Validator Economics:

To try to balance operational requirements, BounceBit empowers validators to impose a commission on staking rewards. This pragmatic approach addresses the economic realities of node operation, ensuring validators are adequately compensated for their critical role in maintaining the network’s robustness and functionality.

# EVM Compatibility & Alignment

BounceBit is designed to be fully compatible with the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) and Solidity, the programming language used for Ethereum smart contracts. # Shared Security Clients

Shared Security Clients represent the next evolution in BTC restaking, enabling diverse blockchain applications to leverage Bitcoin's security through the BounceBit network. These clients, ranging from sidechains to oracle networks, tap into BTC-backed validation semantics to enhance their security and reliability.

### Infrastructure Components

SSCs encompass multiple blockchain infrastructure types:

* Fast finality layers
* Data availability solutions
* Specialized virtual machines
* Keeper networks
* Oracle systems
* Cross-chain bridges

Each client utilizes BTC restaking to establish trust, effectively borrowing security from the Bitcoin network through BounceBit's infrastructure.

### BTC Utilization Paths

The BounceBit ecosystem offers three primary paths for BTC holders:

#### Validator Delegation

Users can delegate BTC to network validators, receiving stBTC (Liquid Staking Derivative) in return. This stBTC can then be:

* Restaked to SSCs for additional yield
* Used in DeFi applications
* Converted to Liquid Restaking Tokens

#### Direct SSC Staking

BTC holders can stake directly to specific SSCs, such as bridge or oracle networks, choosing particular infrastructure elements to support.

#### DeFi Integration

Users can deploy their BTC across traditional DeFi applications:

* Automated Market Makers
* Leverage trading platforms
* Yield farming protocols

Through this multi-path approach, SSCs create an interconnected ecosystem where Bitcoin's security extends beyond its base layer, enabling a new generation of secure blockchain applications.

# BTC Bridge

The BTC Bridge in the BounceBit ecosystem serves as the secure conduit for the transfer of BTC Tokens between the Bitcoin Network and EVM Chains, including BounceBit. This bridge is integral to the functionality and security of the BounceBit network, playing a crucial role in the seamless integration and movement of assets.&#x20;

## Key Functionality of the BTC Bridge:

### **Token Bridging and Uniform Mapping**

The primary function of the BTC Bridge is to facilitate the transfer of BTC Tokens from the native Bitcoin Chain and various EVM-compatible Chains into the BounceBit ecosystem. Once transferred, these tokens are uniformly mapped and represented as BBTC within BounceBit, ensuring consistency and ease of use across the platform.

### Enhanced Security Measures

* ***Beyond Multi-Signature Contracts***: Unlike conventional bridge mechanisms that rely on multi-signature contracts often controlled by a limited group of team addresses, BounceBit’s BTC Bridge introduces a more robust security framework. This design significantly mitigates the risks associated with the concentration of control in multi-signature models.
* ***Validator-Centric Security***: Network validators bear the responsibility of safeguarding the bridge’s security. Each Validator operates a dedicated Bridge Node, contributing to the signing of cross-chain messages and ensuring that the bridge’s security is aligned with overall security.

### Consensus and Validation Process

* ***Shared Security and Consensus***: Drawing inspiration from models like Restaking’s Shared Security, the BounceBit BTC Bridge implements a system where Validators collectively maintain and secure the bridge. This collaborative approach distributes the responsibility of security, enhancing the reliability of cross-chain transactions.
* ***Majority Approval for Transactions***: For any cross-chain transaction to be validated and executed, it requires approval from over 50% of the Validators. This consensus mechanism ensures that every transaction is thoroughly vetted and endorsed by a majority of the network’s validators, adding an extra layer of security and trust to the bridging process.<br>

# Oracle

Oracles play a crucial role in blockchain environments by providing external data to smart contracts, enabling these contracts to interact with real-world information. This document provides guidelines on integrating oracles into the BounceBit Layer 1 blockchain, ensuring that external data feeds are secure, reliable, and timely. We will also use Bracle Network as a specific example to illustrate the integration process.

### **Types of Oracles**

Oracles can be broadly categorized based on their data sources, data flow direction, and degree of centralization:

#### **1. Data Source**

* **Software Oracles**: Manage online data such as temperatures, flight statuses, and financial market prices.
* **Hardware Oracles**: Interface with real-world physical devices like IoT sensors.

#### **2. Direction of Data Flow**

* **Inbound Oracles**: Deliver external data into smart contracts.
* **Outbound Oracles**: Send data from smart contracts to the external world.

#### **3. Centralization**

* **Centralized Oracles**: Rely on a single data source, presenting a potential point of failure.
* **Decentralized Oracles**: Use multiple independent sources to validate data, enhancing reliability and security.

## **Bracle Network on BounceBit**

Bracle Network is a decentralized oracle network designed to provide frequently updated, reliable data feeds to DApps and smart contracts within blockchain ecosystems like BounceBit. It features permissionless access and aggregates data from over 20 sources including both centralized and decentralized exchanges.

For a detailed documentation please refer to Bracle's documentation itself <https://docs.bracle.network/>

#### Data Format <a href="#data-format" id="data-format"></a>

At a top level, transferring data to a Blockchain VM environment requires packing an extra payload to a user's transaction and processing the message on-chain.

<figure><img src="https://docs.bracle.network/~gitbook/image?url=https%3A%2F%2F3447861860-files.gitbook.io%2F%7E%2Ffiles%2Fv0%2Fb%2Fgitbook-x-prod.appspot.com%2Fo%2Fspaces%252FpNbPOwBJhzKBYhW0DpbT%252Fuploads%252FxP1GlNDb4cwcdzTLHJPf%252F3333.png%3Falt%3Dmedia%26token%3D1114da42-fc4d-4620-a37e-d7a0db29f368&#x26;width=768&#x26;dpr=4&#x26;quality=100&#x26;sign=509f5f915b2b84b11e815f3ca69da67937f7238470e1efc9b85ae906f857636c" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

**Data packing (off-chain data encoding)**

1. Relevant data needs to be fetched from the decentralized cache layer, powered by Bracle Network light cache nodes
2. Data is packed into a message according to the following structure

<figure><img src="https://docs.bracle.network/~gitbook/image?url=https%3A%2F%2F3447861860-files.gitbook.io%2F%7E%2Ffiles%2Fv0%2Fb%2Fgitbook-x-prod.appspot.com%2Fo%2Fspaces%252FpNbPOwBJhzKBYhW0DpbT%252Fuploads%252FwC0rhGZJfJ6OY7JAACB1%252F4444.png%3Falt%3Dmedia%26token%3De443a351-9f49-4f33-9ea0-497d917a506a&#x26;width=768&#x26;dpr=4&#x26;quality=100&#x26;sign=7e0d9c6734c3e47c1cc4773515ea05ef071404d9b9c7c80458d5da8edc63d9ae" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

1. The package is appended to the original transaction message, signed and submitted to the network

*All of the steps are executed automatically by ContractProxy and transparent to the end-user*

**Data unpacking (on-chain data verification)**

1. The appended data packages are extracted from the `msg.data`
2. For each data package we:
   1. Verify if the signature was created by a trusted provider
   2. Validate the timestamp, checking if the information is not obsolete
3. Then, for each requested data feed we:
   1. Calculate the number of received unique signers
   2. Extract value for each unique signer
   3. Calculate the aggregated value (median by default)

*This logic is executed in the on-chain environment and we optimised the execution using a low-level assembly code to reduce gas consumption to the absolute minimum*

# Onchain Price Feed

Bracle Price feeds continuously stream price updates to blockchains, with each feed stored within a smart contract. Application developers can easily pass these contracts on their own, then deserialize the data to read the current feed value. Bracle Price Feeds also offer a "pull" model for price updates, where users are responsible for posting updates to the chain as needed. For more information on this model and its implications for integrators, refer to [Bracles documentation](https://docs.bracle.network/price-feeds/pull-model). In the pull model, developers should integrate Bracle into both their onchain and offchain code:

* Onchain programs should read prices from the Bracle program deployed on the same chain.

Bracle provides BounceBit-specific SDK to assist with the integration process, both onchain and off-chain. The simplest way to utilize Bracle price feeds is to integrate the relevant SDKs into your application."

### Reading data feeds onchain <a href="#reading-data-feeds-on-chain" id="reading-data-feeds-on-chain"></a>

To consume price data, your smart contract should reference `IAggregator.sol`, which defines the external functions implemented by Data Feeds.

**How It Works**:

* **Upgrade Your Tier**: Each membership level requires a minimum holding balance on BounceBit CeDeFi. As you reach higher tiers, you unlock additional levels of referral rewards, gaining a percentage of your referred users’ earnings up to the maximum referral levels allowed by your membership tier.
* **Increase Earnings with Reduced Burn Rates**: Higher membership tiers offer you slower burn rates on rewards, maximizing your cumulative returns.

#### **Referral Rewards: Earn More by Sharing the CeDeFi Advantage**

BounceClub Membership’s referral structure offers multiple ways for you to increase your earnings through a comprehensive referral rewards program:

1. **Instant Referral Rewards**: As a member, you’ll earn a one-time bonus based on each invited user’s initial deposit. Premium members get single-level rewards, while higher tiers unlock multi-level rewards to capture additional referral gains.
2. **Ongoing Rewards**: Unlike traditional programs, BounceClub Membership allows you to accumulate earnings based on your referrals’ ongoing performance. Silver and Gold members, in particular, benefit from multiple levels of accumulated referral rewards, ensuring that the more your network grows and performs, the more you earn.

#### **Rewards Burn Rate & Claiming Period: Keep Your Earnings Flowing**

To ensure that rewards are fair and optimized for active members, BounceClub Membership has a **burn rate mechanism** for long-term unclaimed rewards, incentivizing regular activity on the platform. Here’s how it works:

* **Rewards Burn Rate**: If rewards are unclaimed within 30 days, they become subject to a gradually increasing burn rate, which minimizes inactive rewards over time and maintains system balance.
* **Claim Periods**: You can claim accumulated rewards every 30 days, with a minimum threshold of 200 BB. To give you flexibility, we also offer a small “quick-claim” option with a minor fee if you prefer faster access to your earnings.

# MEME

[club.bouncebit.io/meme](#bouncebit-meme-token-launch-infrastructure)

## BounceBit Meme Token Launch Infrastructure

<figure><img src="/files/9zqHGhr794G8oxmqClBN" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

The BounceBit chain extends its ecosystem through a native meme token launchpad, integrating directly with the chain's BB token and BitSwap DEX. This infrastructure enables community-driven token launches while maintaining the security of the BounceBit network.

### Launch Design

Each new meme token on BounceBit chain utilizes BB as the base pair for its bonding curve. Token distribution and pricing scale dynamically with BB investment, creating natural price discovery within the BounceBit ecosystem. This integration ensures that meme token launches contribute to BB utility and ecosystem liquidity.

### Mechanism

The bonding curve operates with BB tokens until reaching the 72,000 BB market cap threshold. Upon reaching this milestone, the protocol automatically converts the accumulated BB liquidity to a BitSwap trading pair. This liquidity is then permanently locked through burning, establishing a sustainable trading foundation within BounceBit's DEX.

The progressive curve supports the broader BounceBit ecosystem by:

* Increasing BB utility through launch participation
* Adding sustainable liquidity to BitSwap
* Creating new trading pairs in the BounceBit ecosystem
* Supporting community engagement with the chain

# Quanto

[<mark style="color:purple;">club.bouncebit.io/defi/quanto</mark>](https://club.bouncebit.io/defi/quanto)

## Quanto Trading System on BounceBit

Quanto introduces cross-currency perpetual contracts to the BounceBit network, enabling traders to maintain positions in one asset while posting collateral in another. This system removes the traditional barriers between different asset classes and blockchains in derivatives trading.

### Core Features

The system operates as a decentralized perpetual contract platform where positions have no expiration date. Traders can maintain long or short positions indefinitely, provided they meet margin requirements. What distinguishes Quanto is its ability to separate the trading asset from the collateral asset - users can trade BTC/USD markets while posting ETH, BB, or other supported tokens as margin.

### Implementation

On BounceBit, Quanto contracts bridge the gap between different asset markets through fixed-rate settlement. For example, a trader can:

* Open a BTC/USD position
* Post BB tokens as collateral
* Settle profits and losses in BB
* Maintain exposure to BTC price movements

This architecture effectively removes currency boundaries in derivatives trading while keeping settlement within the BounceBit ecosystem. The system's quanto characteristic enables traders to access any supported market regardless of their held assets, significantly expanding trading opportunities.

{% content-ref url="/pages/OYD2Tziu4BR87U856wfl" %}
[Quanto](/user-guides/bounceclub-v2/defi/quanto)
{% endcontent-ref %}

### **Fee Calculation**

**Borrowing fees**

The direction of borrowing fee payments is determined by Open Interest (OI) imbalance:

* The side with greater OI (longs or shorts) is responsible for paying the fee
* The side with lower OI receives no charges

Borrowing fees are assessed at two levels:

* Individual trading pair level
* Group level that the pair belongs to
* The system applies whichever fee is higher (never combines them)

Fee calculation basis:

* Applied to total position value (calculated as collateral × leverage)

The formula for borrowing fee per block is:

```
feePerBlock * (abs(longOi - shortOi) / maxOi) ** feeExponent
```

# AI Agents

[club.bouncebit.io/clubs](#agent-architecture)

On BounceClub AI, Agents are the primary entities providing AI services. Each Agent can process end-user requests based on specified strategies, knowledge bases, preferences, and base models. An Agent is not just a simple model invoker but an intelligent entity capable of task handling and feature presentation. By integrating with Knowledge Bases, Agents can provide specialized and customized AI services.

**Guide:**

{% content-ref url="/pages/tcn9wiMIYeROpAGKDQFk" %}
[AI Agents](/user-guides/bounceclub-v2/ai-agents)
{% endcontent-ref %}

## **Agent Architecture**

In the built-in Agent module, Agents are divided into two layers: the Access Layer and the Implementation Layer.

* **Access Layer**: This is the main body of the Agent, containing the Agent's basic information, unique ID, knowledge base permissions, fee account, etc. The Access Layer is where users manage, distribute, and update the Agent. The information in the Access Layer does not affect the Agent's implementation. The design philosophy is to decouple the Agent's carrier from its core, allowing users to freely select, update, and modify Agents.
* **Implementation Layer**: This is the core of the Agent, affecting the Agent's performance. This layer can be implemented using Agent frameworks (such as langchain) or Agent platforms (such as GPTs, Character.AI, Coze). For users without development experience or those who want a quick experience, BounceClub includes a lightweight Agent framework called "MiniCharacter," which allows users to create a high-performance Agent through simple form filling and supports a certain degree of customization and development in the future.

**Why Access Agents Instead of Models Directly**

Direct access to models can provide basic AI functionality but cannot meet complex and diverse application needs. Agents build on this by adding task management, strategy selection, and result optimization functions, making AI services more intelligent and efficient. Additionally, Agents can manage and coordinate the invocation of multiple models, providing a unified service interface, simplifying user operations and integration complexity.

**Task-Oriented or Feature-Oriented Agents**

Agents are usually oriented towards specific tasks or features and require significant code development. Agent Providers are the most direct contributors to improving end-user experience by writing and optimizing Agent code to make AI services more aligned with user needs and scenario requirements. For example, a customer service Agent needs capabilities in natural language processing, sentiment analysis, and problem-solving, while an academic research Agent needs strong literature retrieval and data analysis capabilities. The work of an Agent Provider includes designing and developing processes, managing modal data, and utilizing knowledge bases.

**The Role of Usage in Agents**

Usage plays a critical role in the management and optimization of Agents:

* **Upgrading Agents**: By collecting and analyzing Usage data, Providers can identify performance bottlenecks and improvement points in Agents, allowing for targeted upgrades and optimizations.
* **Collecting Feedback**: Usage data includes user behavior and feedback information, helping Providers understand user needs and experiences and make corresponding adjustments.
* **Optimizing Aggregator Strategies**: When developing Agents, AI services might use aggregator strategies, such as AI model aggregators and knowledge base aggregators. The Agent will then automatically analyze which AI service to use. Accumulating Usage data can help optimize aggregator strategies, selecting the most suitable models and service paths, thereby improving overall service quality and efficiency.

# BounceBit Tokenomics

BounceBit tokenomics are based on solid financial concepts supported by extensive blockchain research. Designed to scale, the BounceBit tokenomic structure is designed to facilitate the inherent ecosystem now and in the future.

### The BounceBit economy

Three main actors are part of the BounceBit economy:

* **Users:** Network participants submit transactions to BounceBit. These transactions transfer, create and modify digital assets or interact with decentralized applications (DApps) through smart contracts.
* **BB Holders:** Token holders can delegate their tokens to validators in order to participate in the proof-of-stake consensus mechanism. Holders will also have the option to participate in BounceBit governance.
* **Node operators:** Execution and processing of transactions on the BounceBit chain is handled by validators that operate their own node.

# Key Terms

To understand the tokenomics of BounceBit it helps knowing these key terms.

* **BB:** The BB token is the native BounceBit platform asset
* **Proof-of-Stake:** The consensus mechanism that selects, incentivizes and rewards validators who process transactions and create new blocks on BounceBit.
* **Gas fees:** Gas fees are the transaction fees users pay on the BounceBit blockchain to submit transactions (e.g. sending or swapping BBTC) and execute smart contracts. They prevent spam and denial-of-service attacks.
* **Dual-Token Staking:** Dual-Token is a mixed Proof-of-Stake mechanism. It uses two tokens to secure one network. BounceBit uses BB and combines it with BTC, which has lower volatility, deeper liquidity and more accessibility.&#x20;

# BB Coin

The native asset of BounceBit is called BB. The total supply of BB is capped at **2,100,000,000** (two billion and one hundred million coins). This number is consciously chosen as a nod to the total supply of Bitcoin at 21 million. A part of the total supply will become liquid at Mainnet launch, and the remaining coins are distributed as future stake rewards, or are vested over the next years.

The BB coin has several purposes on the BounceBit platform:

* Stake BB to actively participate in the PoS Dual-token staking mechanism.
* The coin is paid out as staking reward to validators who secure the network.
* BB is the denomination of the gas fees that are required to conduct transactions and execute smart contracts.
* BB can be used as liquid and versatile currency on the BounceBit platform. It can be used in various applications and infrastructure, as medium of exchange or store of value. Furthermore it has functionalities that enable composability, interoperability and cross-chain compatibility.
* Use BB to participate in on-chain governance, e.g. voting on protocol upgrades.

<figure><img src="/files/fvFBxe6T53Suu49k4vxq" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

There will only ever be 2.1 Billion BB coins. The amount of tokens is chosen to scale with all cryptoeconomic activities on the platform, as more and more users will join the network. Additionally, the BB coin acts complementary to Bitcoin, being deeply woven into the Bitcoin ecosystem.

In the future, various burning mechanisms are not precluded. Their implementation would be facilitated through platform governance.

# Liquid Staking Token (stBBTC & stBB)

BounceBit natively provides a Liquid Staking smart contract. If you stake your BTC or BB, you will receive a Liquid Staking Token (LST). This LST is like a voucher that testifies that you are delegating your assets to a validator.

Currently there are two LSTs you can acquire:

* stBB, the LSD of BB &#x20;
* stBBTC, the LSD of BBTC

{% hint style="info" %}
stBB Token Address: `0x22aAC17E571D6651880d057e310703fF4C7c3483`

stBBTC Token Address: `0x7F150c293c97172C75983BD8ac084c187107eA19`
{% endhint %}

These derivatives will later be able to be restaked to Shared Security Clients (SSC) to aggregate security and unlocking the liquidity of the staked assets, hence the name liquid staking. They can also be redeemed for the tokens they staked (plus/minus a share of rewards and penalties).

### Redemption

LSTs can be redeemed at all times on [bbscan.io](https://bbscan.io/stake) by unstaking. You first request a redemption and after 24h you can claim. Follow this guide:

## Role of BBTC

Bitcoin acts as an additional ecosystem token to BounceBit. It serves as anchor to bootstrap the BounceBit network. It's low volatility, deep liquidity and high accessibility makes it suitable to act as foundational assets that secures and EVM network.&#x20;

BBTC is BTC on BounceBit chain, it can be seen as wrapped version of Bitcoin, with enhanced functionalities that allow the utilization of BTC beyond being a store of value. BounceBit unlocks staking and restaking for Bitcoin.&#x20;

BounceBit natively supports liquid staking for BBTC. BBTC holders can stake their funds with node operators and receive a liquid staking derivative (LSD) as receipt for their contribution. This LSD can be restaked to infrastructure like BTC Bridge, oracles, data availability layers and more.

Stablecoins from various EVM-compatible Chains can be bridged into the BounceBit ecosystem. Most notably, FDUSD on Binance Smart Chain (BEP20) and USDT on Ethereum are supported. BounceBit aims to support all sound stablecoins.

Once transferred, these tokens are uniformly mapped and represented as BBUSD within BounceBit, ensuring consistency and ease of use across the platform. Cross-chain transfer of stablecoins is handled by bridges.

## Role of BBUSD

BBUSD acts as an additional ecosystem token to BounceBit. It serves as liquid and versatile currency on the BounceBit platform. It can be used in various applications and infrastructure, as medium of exchange or store of value

BBUSD is the Liquid Custody Token (LCT) of FDUSD & USDT on BounceBit chain, it can be seen as wrapped version of those stablecoins.

# Liquid Staking (stBB)

Liquid Staking allows you to delegate BB to validators and receive stBB, a liquid staking derivative (LSD) that represents your delegated position. stBB is transferable and may be used in supported applications. Unstaking requires an unbonding period of 7 days before BB becomes withdrawable.

{% hint style="success" %}
stBB Token Address: 0x22aAC17E571D6651880d057e310703fF4C7c3483

[How to Stake/Unstake BB (Delegation)](/user-guides/staking-and-delegation/how-to-stake-unstake-bb-delegation)
{% endcontent-ref %}

***

### Mechanics

* Stake → Mint: You delegate BB via the staking contract; stBB is minted to your address.
* Unstake → Burn: You initiate unstake; stBB is burned and an unbonding timer (7 days) begins. After unbonding, BB is claimable.
* Validator commission / protocol fees: Displayed in the staking UI at action time

***

### Risks

* Slashing: Delegated stake can be slashed if validators misbehave or underperform.
* Unbonding delay: Withdrawals are not instant; BB is claimable only after the 7-day unbonding completes.
* Market risk: stBB may trade at a discount/premium to BB in secondary markets.
* Operational/contract risk: Validator operations and smart contracts can fail despite audits and controls.

***

{% hint style="warning" %}
BBTC node staking and the stBBTC token are deprecated.

In V3, BTC/BBTC node staking is no longer offered, and there is no stBBTC. Use stBB for BB liquid staking, and use the Farm module for rewards on V3 BB-tokens.
{% endhint %}

# BB-Token Standard (V3)

V3 replace the traditional vault model with the new BB-Token Standard.

### What they are

BB-tokens are rebasing, yield-embedded voucher tokens on BounceBit Chain.

They are minted when you subscribe to a V3 vault and burned when you withdraw. Each BB-token corresponds 1:1 (intent) to an active position in a specific vault/strategy.

Currently there are 6 BB-Tokens corresponding to specific vaults.

<table><thead><tr><th>BB-Token</th><th width="437.96484375">Token Address</th><th>Vault</th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td>BBTC</td><td>0xaC9E18bF5Bc1D38fC154731D54F30C336E0F9694</td><td>BTCB</td></tr><tr><td>BBUSD</td><td>0x733dC955db0a2dE7f1F8780E0607e04A91BC0Bc6</td><td>USDT</td></tr><tr><td>BBNB</td><td>0x1F3e2C71eAc8Ef124316207a6B9fE933A17a56E2</td><td>BNB</td></tr><tr><td>BBETH</td><td>0x7C44AeE88809d2A4033E0D6367ACD933471d47b8</td><td>ETH</td></tr><tr><td>BBSOL</td><td>0x8C12F4c0a05CaCd015a5204bCb5748F032575618</td><td>SOL</td></tr></tbody></table>

> Before V3 there were no user-facing tokens; positions were tracked internally. V3 standardizes positions as transferable tokens.

### Key properties

* Rebasing yield: yield is paid by increasing balances pro-rata, not by changing price per token.
* Voucher semantics: each BB-token represents a live position in a specific V3 vault/strategy.
* Restricted mint/burn: only the vault/strategy can mint or burn; transfers are permissionless.
* Composability: usable in DEXs, money markets, perps, and staking.

### Lifecycle

1. Subscribe → Mint: deposit into a V3 vault; receive the BB-token.
2. Accrue → Rebase: vault performance credits holders via periodic positive rebases (total supply and per-holder balances rise).
3. Withdraw → Burn: burn BB-tokens; receive proceeds per vault rules (including accrued yield).

<figure><img src="/files/7wUwskcb7CkURoDauPJe" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

### Staking for stBB rewards

You can stake BB-tokens in the [Farm](https://portal.bouncebit.io/farm) module to earn additional stBB rewards.

* Staking does not change redemption rights; you can unstake and withdraw via the vault.
* Rewards accrue and can be manually claimed from the staking contract.

### FAQ

**Are BB-tokens yield-bearing?**&#x20;

Yes, yield is embedded via rebasing (your balance grows).

**Can I trade or use them as collateral?**&#x20;

Transfer is permissionless. BB-Tokens will soon be integrated in the BounceBit Perps platform to be used as collateral.

**Do stBB rewards replace the rebase?**&#x20;

No, rebasing continues; stBB is an additional incentive layer.

**Where do I find the token address?**&#x20;

# Staking Delegation

*If you are looking for a guide, you can find it here:*&#x20;

{% content-ref url="/pages/9jkrRsFg1PZgKtf5HO89" %}
[How to Stake/Unstake BB (Delegation)](/user-guides/staking-and-delegation/how-to-stake-unstake-bb-delegation)
{% endcontent-ref %}

The consensus mechanism of BounceBit's Layer 1 is a Delegated-Proof-of-Stake (DPoS) protocol to operate the network. Selection of validators that create new blocks and validate transactions is based on the amount of tokens they stake. This stake can consist of assets delegated to them, as well as their own assets.

BounceBit chain introduces a Dual-Token PoS, a strategic innovation designed to enhance network security and engagement of network participants.

## Dual-Token PoS Structure

BounceBit’s PoS architecture incorporates 50 Validators, evenly divided into two segments: one for BTC stakers and the other for BB token stakers. This dual-token system not only broadens the stakeholder base but also weaves an additional layer of resilience and security into the network’s consensus fabric. Simultaneously this means that users can delegate their BB as well as BTC to node operators to actively participate in consensus.&#x20;

### Staking by delegating

You can stake BB tokens by delegating them to validators. You have to choose a specific validator that you want to stake with. This choice will potentially affect the staking rewards you stand to receive. There are two main factors to consider in this decision - commission and performance.&#x20;

1. To try to balance operational requirements, BounceBit empowers validators to impose a commission on staking rewards. This pragmatic approach addresses the economic realities of node operation, ensuring validators are adequately compensated for their critical role in maintaining the network’s robustness and functionality.
2. Bad performing validators might incur punishments during an epoch, which results in them not earning any staking rewards for the epoch. This naturally affects the stakers that delegated assets to the punished validator.

To delegate your assets you can use BBVision, an explorer built by Blockvision, with in-built staking interface.

# Liquid Custody

BounceBit introduces the concept of Liquid Custody, enabling staked assets to stay liquid & providing more accessible yield-generating opportunities.

The concept of Liquid Custody is named after Liquid Staking, a mechanism first introduced by Lido on Ethereum, a smart solution to overcome the illiquidity of staked Ethereum. It is similar to liquid staking in the sense that *a commitment to a yield generating activity that would lock your assets is offset by generating a derivative bound to the value of the underlying asset.*&#x20;

The parallels to Liquid Staking are very apparent, instead of staking to a protocol for network security, you are committing your assets to centralized custody. Then you are returned a voucher-like token, which allows you to withdraw whatever you staked or committed.

### Mechanism

When users deposit their assets (BTC, USD, ETH) on BounceBit, they will receive a token (BBTC, BBUSD, BBETH), which represents their assets in regulated custody on a 1:1 basis. These tokens can be bridged to BounceBit and be further utilized, e.g. BBTC can be staked to the dual-token PoS to receive stBBTC, which then can be restaked. Or you directly participate in the usual yield farming through the DApps within the BounceClub ecosystem.

<figure><img src="/files/pzb9fG71xfISfIWfy9zY" alt="" width="563"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Additionally, you have now earned the right to participate in delta-neutral Funding Rate Arbitrage strategies, with your assets in custody. You have to lock your Liquid Custody Token (LCT) and can commit it to Premium Yield Generation. Importantly, this feature is **optional** and not required. For more information about this feature, check out our articles on [BounceBit’s integration of Centralized Custody](https://medium.com/@bouncebit/restoring-the-trust-in-cefi-with-centralized-custody-ceffu-x-bouncebit-675f6448900b) and [Funding Rate Arbitrage strategies](https://medium.com/@bouncebit/bouncebit-funding-rate-arbitrage-cefi-layer-907e19288810).&#x20;

### Withdrawal

To withdraw your funds out of custody (not Premium Yield Generation), you naturally have to match the asset with its LCT. For example to withdraw 1 BTC, you have to unstake by depositing 1 BBTC back to BounceBit.

# Bread and Butter (BB Cross-chain Liquidity)

### Overview

Bread and Butter is BounceBit Chain's innovative cross-chain liquidity scheme, designed to bridge $BB to major EVM-compatible blockchains and the Bitcoin CeDeFi ecosystem. This strategy builds on BounceBit's CeDeFi infrastructure, combining secure custody, asset management, and DeFi elements to enhance user engagement and ecosystem sustainability.

### Conceptual Framework

Just as bread and butter form the foundation of a meal, this liquidity scheme establishes $BB as the core asset ("bread"), with liquidity pools and channels acting as the "butter," spreading utility across multiple networks. The system operates through integrated bridge protocols, maintaining deep liquidity pools on leading EVM networks where $BB can be paired with native tokens and Bitcoin-based CeDeFi assets.

When users initiate transactions on their preferred networks (like Ethereum or BNB Chain), the Bread and Butter scheme automatically manages liquidity flow through integrated bridge protocols. Each transaction contributes to balanced liquidity channels, with arbitrage mechanisms smoothing out price differences across chains - just like butter spreading evenly on bread.

### Technical Implementation

#### OFT Standard Integration

The cross-chain bridge implementation leverages LayerZero's Omnichain Fungible Token (OFT) Standard. This standard provides atomic cross-chain message passing with guaranteed consistency and enables seamless token transfers across supported networks.

#### Contract Addresses

BB currently is only available on Ethereum and BounceBit Chain, more chains might follow in the future.

Ethereum Network Token Contract: `0xd459ECeddafcc1d876a3be7290A2E16e801073a3` Uniswap V3 Pair: `0x33b8213dE159884531957097F1722a12436014CC`

#### Technical Integration Guide

The OFT standard implements unified interfaces for cross-chain token transfers:\
\
Documentation: <https://docs.layerzero.network/v2/home/token-standards/oft-standard>

This interface handles:

* Cross-chain token transfers with atomic execution
* Message validation and consistency checks
* Gas fee management across chains
* Refund handling for failed transactions

### Usage Guide

To bridge tokens, users can access the official Bridge Portal: [portal.bouncebit.io/convert/bridge](https://portal.bouncebit.io/convert/bridge). The interface provides a straightforward process for cross-chain transfers, automatically handling the complexity of the OFT protocol implementation.

The intent-based trading system allows users to engage with $BB and other BounceBit ecosystem tokens without needing to switch networks. When users purchase tokens on platforms like Ethereum, liquidity automatically channels back to BounceBit Chain, ensuring efficient cross-chain accessibility.

***

*Note: This documentation is maintained by the BounceBit team and is regularly updated to reflect system improvements and new features.*

#### Memecoin Launch Partnership&#x20;

Initial implementation includes:

* First bridged tokens: $NOTBB and $LNNG
* Support for major networks: Ethereum and BNB Chain
* Direct trading using native tokens (ETH, BNB)
* Automated liquidity channeling back to BounceBit Chain

Future ecosystem tokens will be added based on community demand, continuously expanding the reach and utility of the Bread and Butter liquidity scheme.

# V3 FAQ

This FAQ answers questions you might have regarding V3.

***

> **TL;DR**
>
> * V3 consolidates everything into **five currency vaults**: USDT, BTC, ETH, BNB, SOL.
> * Depositing mints a **rebasing BB-token** on BB Chain (BBUSD, BBTC, BBETH, BBNB, BBSOL).
> * **To keep earning stBB rewards, you must stake your BB-tokens.**
> * We **airdropped 0.1 BB** to eligible addresses to help cover gas for staking.
> * **Rebase is weekly**; **redemptions process weekly**; **stBB rewards issue daily** (you claim).
> * V2 positions and unclaimed rewards were **migrated 1:1** into V3.

***

### What changed in V3?

* The old “Manual / Auto / Fixed” products are gone. You now interact with **one vault per currency**: USDT, BTC, ETH, BNB, SOL.
* Your vault position appears as a **BB-token** on **BB Chain**:
  * Deposit USDT → receive **BBUSD**
  * Deposit BTC → receive **BBTC**
  * (and so on for ETH/BNB/SOL)
* BB-tokens **rebase weekly** so balances automatically reflect accruals.

> **USDC note:** New USDC deposits aren’t accepted in V3. Legacy USDC positions were consolidated into USDT management.

***

### Depositing (Subscribe)

**Goal:** Get a BB-token that represents your vault position.

1. **Choose currency** (USDT, BTC, ETH, BNB, SOL) on a supported origin chain.
2. **Deposit** in the app. A matching **BB-token is minted** to your **BB Chain** address.
3. Optional: **Stake** during subscribe to start earning **stBB** immediately (see lock below).

**Lock window:** If you stake during subscribe—or stake later—the staked portion is **locked for 28 days**. (Unstaked balances are transferable and redeemable after their own initial lock ends.)

***

### BB-tokens at a glance

* **What they are:** Receipt tokens on BB Chain (BBUSD, BBTC, BBETH, BBNB, BBSOL) that represent your vault position.
* **Why they change:** They **rebase weekly**, adjusting your balance to reflect accruals. You don’t need to take action.
* **Transfers:** You can **transfer** BB-tokens on BB Chain; the **underlying position moves with the token** to the new holder.

***

### Staking & stBB rewards

To **continue earning stBB rewards**, **stake your BB-tokens** on BB Chain.

* We **airdropped 0.1 BB** to **eligible addresses** to help cover gas for staking.
* **Rewards:** stBB rewards are **issued daily** on BB Chain. You **claim** them in the app.
* **Lock:** Staked amounts are **locked for 28 days** from each stake action. You can stake later if you didn’t stake at subscribe (that new stake has its own 28-day lock).
* **APR:** May vary by currency and market conditions.

**How to stake**

1. Open **Portfolio** → choose your **BB-token** (e.g., BBUSD).
2. Click **Stake** → confirm.
3. Track **stBB** accruals and **claim** when you like.

***

### Weekly rebase (automatic)

* Happens **once per week** to align BB-token balances with accruals.
* No action required; you’ll see your BB-token amounts **adjust automatically**.

***

### Redeeming (Withdraw)

**Goal:** Burn your BB-token and receive funds on your target chain.

1. In the app, click **Redeem**, choose **amount** and **target chain**.
2. Your BB-tokens are **burned**; the request enters the **weekly processing** queue.
3. After processing, you **claim funds** on the target chain when the **withdrawal time** is reached.

**Notes**

* If part of your position is staked, the app will **close staking** for that portion as part of the redeem flow.
* Any **stBB** you’ve earned remains **claimable**.

***

### Solana users

* You’ll need an **associated EVM address** for some actions and for redemptions back to EVM chains.
* If you transfer your BB-token on BB Chain, the **position and its accruals move with it**.

***

### Migration from V2

* Your V2 positions and unclaimed rewards were **migrated 1:1** into V3 **BB-tokens**.
* Some legacy features (wrap/unwrap, certain bridges, old LP pools) were **retired** as part of the cleanup.
* **Ethena-related** legacy positions were converted to **USDT V3** positioning; any earned third-party rewards were delivered to users as applicable.

***

### What happened to Perps/Trade

• Perps and Trade are paused until BLP launches (later this year)

• You can withdraw your balance anytime via your profile page.

### How to add more tokens into the swap?

You can simply add using the following smart contract:\

### Key cycles (for planning)

* **stBB rewards:** **Daily** issuance (you claim anytime).
* **Rebase:** **Weekly** (balances auto-adjust).
* **Redemptions:** **Processed weekly**; you’ll **claim** when the withdrawal window opens.

***

### Quick troubleshooting

* **I don’t see my BB-token:** Check you’re viewing your **BB Chain** address.
* **My redeem isn’t available yet:** Wait until the shown **withdrawal time**, then claim on the target chain.
* **A step failed in subscribe/redeem:** Re-submit in the app; ensure you have **sufficient gas**. Most issues resolve with a retry.

***

### Glossary

* **BB-token:** Your position on BB Chain (BBUSD, BBTC, BBETH, BBNB, BBSOL).
* **stBB:** Reward token earned by **staking** a BB-token; **claimed** by you.
* **Rebase:** Weekly auto-adjustment of BB-token balances to reflect accruals.
* **iBBTC:** Institutional receipt for BTC positions; **staking-only**, no rebase.

# Brand Guidelines

This page outlines our brand identity, messaging, and values to ensure consistent communication across all platforms.

## BounceBit: Where Financial Worlds Converge

BounceBit exists at the intersection where traditional finance meets decentralized innovation—where established systems and emerging technologies unite to create something greater together. Our mission extends beyond building products; we create connections that transform how value moves in the modern financial landscape.

***

### Identity Foundations

**We Are the Bridge**\
Between centralized and decentralized financial systems\
Between digital assets and real-world value\
Between institutional security and innovative yield generation\
Between finance as it exists today and what it will become tomorrow

**We Are the Architects**\
Of a refined financial landscape where conventional boundaries dissolve\
Of sophisticated systems that generate value through parallel mechanisms\
Of transparency that enhances rather than compromises security protocols\
Of infrastructure that renders complexity into elegant simplicity

**We Are the Future**\
Where regulated custody enables decentralized yield opportunities\
Where real-world assets generate compound returns through parallel mechanisms\
Where delta-neutral strategies create yield without compromising asset security\
Where innovative financial solutions feel intuitive and accessible

***

### Our Communication Framework

#### Precision with Clarity

We address complex financial mechanisms with deliberate clarity and purpose. Our communication eliminates unnecessary technical jargon while maintaining accuracy. Each statement reflects deep expertise presented in an accessible manner.

#### Confidence with Receptiveness

We communicate with the assurance that comes from building transformative infrastructure, while maintaining receptiveness to new perspectives and approaches. We acknowledge our continuous evolution rather than claiming perfection.

#### Vision with Pragmatism

We look beyond current limitations to future possibilities, while anchoring our vision in practical innovation. Our communication connects long-term transformation to immediate implementation and tangible benefits.

#### Sophistication with Accessibility

We recognize that behind every technical achievement lies a fundamental human need. Our language balances financial sophistication with human understanding, creating systems for people rather than merely for protocols.

***

### Strategic Narratives

#### 1. The CeDeFi Integration

*The traditional distinction between CeFi and DeFi creates unnecessary limitations.*

**Core Message:** "We integrate the strengths of centralized security with decentralized innovation to create a financial infrastructure more powerful than either could be independently."

**Expression Guidance:** Present integration as optimization rather than compromise. Emphasize how regulated custody enhances rather than constrains DeFi possibilities.

#### 2. Real-World Asset Optimization

*Real-world assets can generate compound returns through sophisticated collateralization.*

**Core Message:** "Real-world assets serve as both yield-generating investments and secure collateral for delta-neutral strategies, creating dual return streams from the same underlying value."

**Expression Guidance:** Emphasize the compounding effect of parallel yield streams. Highlight how assets maintain their original yield while simultaneously enabling additional returns through sophisticated trading strategies.

#### 3. Parallel Yield Architecture

*Financial assets should generate multiple return streams simultaneously.*

**Core Message:** "Your assets generate dual returns through parallel mechanisms—the original yield from the asset itself plus additional returns from delta-neutral trading strategies using that asset as collateral."

**Expression Guidance:** Emphasize the compounding effect of maintaining the original yield while adding a second yield stream. Use the concept of assets "working twice" without being consumed or liquidated.

#### 4. Transparent Security Framework

*Advanced security is enhanced by transparency, not compromised by it.*

**Core Message:** "We enhance institutional security with blockchain transparency, establishing a new standard where trust is continuously verified rather than periodically assessed."

**Expression Guidance:** Position transparency as a security enhancement rather than a compromise. Emphasize the continuous nature of verification.

***

### Audience Engagement

Our communication adapts to different audiences while maintaining consistency in our fundamental principles.

#### For Institutional Clients

Those who understand traditional system limitations but require institutional-grade security

**Engagement Focus:** Security frameworks that enable innovation without compromising compliance\
**Primary Concern Addressed:** "How can we access emerging financial paradigms while maintaining our essential security requirements?"

#### For DeFi Participants

Those who embrace decentralization but seek greater connection to established value systems

**Engagement Focus:** Expanded asset classes and yield opportunities within trusted infrastructure\
**Primary Concern Addressed:** "How can we extend DeFi capabilities beyond current limitations while preserving core principles?"

#### For Asset Managers

Those seeking to maximize returns from traditional instruments without liquidating positions

**Engagement Focus:** Dual-yield mechanisms that compound returns from existing assets\
**Primary Concern Addressed:** "How can we generate additional returns from our RWA holdings without sacrificing their underlying yield or stability?"

#### For Yield-Focused Investors

Those prioritizing optimal returns with appropriate risk management

**Engagement Focus:** Multi-dimensional yield generation through complementary systems\
**Primary Concern Addressed:** "How can we maximize returns while maintaining appropriate security for our investments?"

***

### Communication Guidelines

#### Language Principles

**Incorporate:**

* Precise, clear statements that illuminate rather than obscure meaning
* Active voice that emphasizes transformation and directed movement
* Technical terminology balanced with accessible explanations
* Thoughtful metaphors that connect abstract concepts to tangible understanding

**Avoid:**

* Unnecessary technical jargon and acronyms presented without context
* Passive constructions that distance users from direct benefits
* Exaggerated claims that promise beyond what we can deliver
* False dichotomies between traditional and decentralized finance

#### Visual Direction

Our communications should visually embody our bridging function:

* Refined negative space that allows concepts appropriate prominence
* Thoughtful transitions between elements to suggest connectivity
* Layered compositions representing parallel systems working in concert
* Strategic connection points highlighting integration rather than separation

***

### Core Terminology

These terms represent our fundamental innovations and should be employed consistently and precisely:

**CeDeFi**\
A sophisticated reimagining of how centralized and decentralized finance function together, not merely their combination. Use when discussing our comprehensive approach to financial infrastructure.

**Liquid Custody Tokens (LCTs)**\
The technological infrastructure that transforms assets under custody into dynamic financial instruments. Use when explaining how assets maintain liquidity while generating yield.

**Real World Assets (RWAs)**\
Traditional financial instruments like Treasury bills and bonds that generate their inherent yield while simultaneously serving as collateral for delta-neutral strategies. Use when discussing compound yield generation and secured credit line architecture.

**Parallel Yield Generation**\
The simultaneous creation of returns through complementary financial mechanisms. Use when explaining how assets can be optimized through multiple channels simultaneously.

**BounceClub**\
Our integrated ecosystem of financial applications and services. Use when highlighting the comprehensive nature of our platform.

***

### Evolution Principle

Significant innovations evolve organically while maintaining their foundational purpose. As BounceBit advances, these guidelines should function as living principles rather than rigid directives. We adapt and expand while remaining true to our fundamental mission: creating seamless connections between previously separate financial domains, making sophisticated opportunities accessible through elegant infrastructure.

These are the principles of our visual identity. Follow these guidelines when promoting BounceBit.

## Logo

<figure><picture><source srcset="/files/PX35jfLRxHbwf0U8p5c6" media="(prefers-color-scheme: dark)"><img src="/files/aNRRP1wiGNGWn1J8jvCr" alt="" width="375"></picture><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Download the images below

{% file src="/files/aNRRP1wiGNGWn1J8jvCr" %}

{% file src="/files/PX35jfLRxHbwf0U8p5c6" %}

To ensure readability the logo should never be reduced to a size smaller than 120px wide for web and 1.68 inches for print.

\
**Don’t** add unnecessary embellishments like drop shadows, patterns, etc.\
**Don’t** tilt, rotate, stretch, or distort the logo in any way\
**Don’t** fill the logo with a gradient\
**Don’t** remove the icon from the wordmark\
**Don’t** invade the logo's personal space with any sort of tagline or text\
**Don’t** combine our icon with other words to create a different meaning

## Symbol

The intertwined X is our mark of authenticity. It’s unique and memorable and fully capable of standing independently as our brand’s awareness continues to grow.

## Monitoring

Monitor your Full node using the instructions at Logging, Tracing, Metrics, and Observability.

The default metrics port is <mark style="color:red;">`26660`</mark>. To change the port, edit your config/config.toml file.

```bash
prometheus = true
# Address to listen for Prometheus collector(s) connections
prometheus_listen_addr = ":26660"
```

# Cosmovisor

### Cosmovisor

> Please refer to the Cosmovisor documentation for further information. <https://docs.cosmos.network/main/build/tooling/cosmovisor>

> `cosmovisor` is a process manager for Cosmos SDK application binaries that automates application binary switch at chain upgrades. It polls the `upgrade-info.json` file that is created by the x/upgrade module at upgrade height, and then can automatically download the new binary, stop the current binary, switch from the old binary to the new one, and finally restart the node with the new binary.
>
> ‼️
>
> If you have been running without using Cosmovisor for a while and are now preparing to use Cosmovisor, please note that you need to check if `upgrade-info.json` file exists under `WORKSPACE/data/` Please remove it during the initial run Cosmovisor.

**To Install the latest version.**

```bash
go  install cosmossdk.io/tools/cosmovisor/cmd/cosmovisor@latest
```

**Setup**

```bash
cd $WORKSPACE
mkdir -p cosmovisor/genesis/bin
mkdir -p cosmovisor/upgrades
cp bbcored cosmovisor/genesis/bin/  # copy current version of bbcored
```

**Systemd** `update -> /etc/systemd/system/bouncebit.service`

```bash
[Unit]
Description=Bouncebit Mainnet
After=network-online.target
[Service]
Type=simple
User=bouncebit
ExecStart=cosmovisor run start --log_level info --home <WORKSPACE> --chain-id bouncebit_6001-1 --moniker <YOUR_NODE_NAME>
KillMode=process
Restart=on-failure
RestartSec=3
Environment="DAEMON_HOME=<WORKSPACE>" # replace!
Environment="DAEMON_NAME=bbcored"
Environment="DAEMON_ALLOW_DOWNLOAD_BINARIES=false"
Environment="DAEMON_RESTART_AFTER_UPGRADE=true"
Environment="UNSAFE_SKIP_BACKUP=true"
[Install]
WantedBy=multi-user.target
```

```bash
systemctl daemon-reload
systemctl start bouncebit.service
systemctl enable bouncebit.service
```

**When requested to upgrade to the new version.**

```bash
cd $WORKSPACE
# download the new bbcored (v1.5.0)
mkdir -p cosmovisor/upgrades/v1.5.0/bin  # replace version
cp bbcored cosmovisor/upgrades/v1.5.0/bin/
```

\<aside> ‼️ **Please ensure to use StateSync or Archive Snapshot to synchronize the mainnet node.**

\</aside>

#### StateSync

> With state sync, your node will download and verify data only related to the head or near the head of the chain.

Fetch the latest block height.

```bash
curl -s <http://34.126.185.25:26657/block> | jq -r '.result.block.header.height'
224136
```

Fetch the trust hash of the latest block height.

```bash
curl -s "<http://34.126.185.25:26657/block?height=224136>" | jq -r '.result.block_id.hash'
FC1E650D149713BF9AB0072C084CE4B7CAD0ABA503C32CD64F759651BB66A7C2
```

Enable state-sync, add RPC servers

**config.toml**

```bash
[statesync]
enable = true
rpc_servers = "34.126.185.25:26657,35.247.178.93:26657"
trust_height = 224136
trust_hash = "FC1E650D149713BF9AB0072C084CE4B7CAD0ABA503C32CD64F759651BB66A7C2"
```

**app.toml**

```bash
[rosetta]
enable = false
```

#### Archive Snapshot (pruning nothing)

✅ bouncebit\_archive\_snapshot\_2024\_12\_06.lz4

```bash
curl -o - -sL [<https://bouncebit-snapshot.s3.ap-southeast-1.amazonaws.com/>](<https://bouncebit-snapshot.s3.ap-southeast-1.amazonaws.com/bouncebit_archive_snapshot_2024-08-25.lz4>){{snapshot_file}} | lz4 -c -d - | tar -x -C  $HOME
# RPC Support
Our partner Blockvision provides high-quality private RPCs at an affordable price. You can read more about it here: https\://docs.blockvision.org/reference/rate-limits-and-compute-units
## Rate Limits and Compute Units
The illustration of what Compute Units are and how we use them.
Compute Units are a measure of the total computing resources that your application uses on BlockVision. Some query interfaces are lightweight and fast (e.g. eth\_blockNumber), while others can be more complex and require more resources(e.g. eth\_call). Each method is assigned a certain number of computational units derived from the global average duration of each method.
### WebSocket
WebSocket subscriptions like eth\_subscribe on BlockVision are priced based on bandwidth: the amount of data delivered as part of the subscription.
Each subscription type is priced identically, per byte:
| BandWidth | CU   |
| --------- | ---- |
| 1 Byte    | 0.02 |
On average, websocket subscriptions event sizes range from a minimum of about 75 bytes to a maximum of about 1000 bytes. Specifically, subscribing to newPendingTransactions costs about 2 compute units per event. The event bvPendingTransactions costs about 20 compute units, while newHeads requires about 25 compute units. But the actual situation may be far from this number.
### Rate Limits (CUPS)
Rate limit serves to protect users from malicious actors or runaway scripts. Each tier has prioritized rate limit allocations designed for ultimate reliability. CUPS is a measure of the number of compute units used per second when making requests. Since each request is weighted differently, the query frequency is limited based on the total compute units used rather than the number of requests.\
For example, if you send one web3\_sha3(15 CUs), two eth\_blockNumber (16 CUs) requests in the same second, you will have a total of 47 CUPS.
| USER       | Compute Units Per Second (CUPS) |
| ---------- | ------------------------------- |
| Free       | 300                             |
# How to Verify Smart Contracts
A contract source code could be verify after successfully deployed to BounceBit network , At the moment , to verify the source code ,it supports BounceBit explorer(bbscan.io) and hardhat verify plugin.
### Verify via bbscan.io
The simplest way to verify your source code is via the bbscan.io UI. This process does not require any programming skills.
#### A Step-by-step Tutorial
**Step 1.** Head to bbscan.io, select the network for the contract to verify (support both for Testnet and Mainnet):
<figure><img src="https://files.readme.io/32111da-1280X1280.PNG" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>
<br>
**Step 2.** Navigate to the 'Verify Contract' page through the submenu of Blockchain tab on the menu bar.
<figure><img src="https://files.readme.io/70a4577-1280X1280_1.PNG" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>
<br>
**Step 3.** Insert the contract Address and upload metadata.json file, then click the verify contract button at bottom of the page. The verification process may fail if there are any mismatches between the smart contract and the upload files.
<figure><img src="https://files.readme.io/8b2d69c-download.png" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>
<br>
**Step 4.** You will then be able to view the verification results. The outcome can either be a success or a failure. The verification process may fail if there are any mismatches between the smart contract and the uploaded files.
<br>
**Step 5.** Verified contract details could be viewed by clicking the View the Contract, or navigate to the contract detail page by searching the contract address.
### Verify via Hardhat verify plugin
To verify contract with hardhat verify plugin, in short, all steps are:
1. Setup config.
2. Flatten contract (skip if there's only one solidity file with no external dependencies).
3. Verify contract by verify plugin.
**Step 1. Setup config**
First, install the plugin:
Shell
```shell
npm install --save-dev @nomicfoundation/hardhat-verify
```
And add the following statement to your `hardhat.config.js`:
JavaScript
```javascript
require("@nomicfoundation/hardhat-verify");
```
Then, add the following networks, etherscan and sourcify configs to your `hardhat.config.js` file:
JavaScript
```javascript
module.exports = {
  networks: {
    bbtestnet: {
      chainId: 6000,
      url: "https://fullnode-testnet.bouncebitapi.com"
    },
    bbmainnet: {
      chainId: 6001,
      url: "https://fullnode-mainnet.bouncebitapi.com/"
    }
  },
  etherscan: {
    enabled: false
  },
  sourcify: {
    enabled: true,
    apiUrl: "http://api.bbscan.io/sourcify/server"
  }
};
```
**Step 2. Flatten contract**
If the contract contains more than one file, or it imports external dependencies, Hardhat comes with a built-in flatten task that lets you combine the source code of multiple Solidity files so the contract could be verify by hardhat-verify plugin.
Shell
```shell
#all the Solidity files in your project will be combined
npx hardhat flatten > contracts/flattened.sol

#or, specifc a path to the contract file to flatten(the file which contains compile target):
npx hardhat flatten contracts/Foo.sol > contracts/flattened.sol
```
The flattened contract need to be successful compiled in your contract project by hardhat. Then we are ready for the next step.
**Step3. Verify contract**
Run the command:
Shell
```shell
npx hardhat verify --network bbtestnet --contract contracts/flattened.sol:Foo <0xTheContractAddress>
```
Run `npx hardhat help verify` more details about verify plugin
The verification process takes seconds to minutes. If contract is successfully verified, you should see :
```
Successfully verified contract Token on Sourcify.
```
Done!
# How to Withdraw Validator Commission
This guide explains how to withdraw your validator commission on BounceBit. Execute the following script on your validator machine, assuming your data directory is /data/bouncebit.
#### **Prerequisites:**
* bbcored is installed (assumed location: /usr/local/bin/bbcored).
* You have access to your validator's keyring.
Withdrawal Script:
```bash
#!/bin/bash

bbc="/usr/local/bin/bbcored --home=/data/bouncebit"

moniker=$($bbc status | jq -r '.NodeInfo.moniker' | sed 's/\n//')

opaddr=$($bbc query staking validators --output json | jq -r ".validators[] | select(.description.moniker == \"$moniker\") | .operator_address")

keys=$($bbc keys list --output json)

oper=$(echo "$keys"|jq -r '.[0].name')

rwaddr=$(echo "$keys"|jq -r '.[0].address')

cmd="bbc tx distribution withdraw-rewards $opaddr --from $oper --fees 2000000000000000bit --commission --yes --output json|jq"

echo "Moniker: $moniker"
echo "Operator Address: $opaddr"
echo "Reward Address: $rwaddr"
echo "Key Name: $oper"
echo "Command to execute: $cmd"
eval "$cmd"
```
#### Key Points:
* **Execution**: Run this script on your validator server.
* **Keyring**: You will be prompted for your keyring password twice during execution.
* **Reward Address**: Rewards will be sent to your validator's operator address ($opaddr).
* **Key** **Selection**: The script uses the first key in your keyring. Ensure this is the correct key.
* **Commission** **Flag**: The --commission flag is essential for withdrawing validator commission.
Please execute this script to withdraw your commission. Contact us if you have any questions.
